When the past just wont quit ( chapter 46)

He pulls away from Ally's embrace
" what?" She asked
" um.." he said
" don't remember my name?" Carly asked
" of course I do" He said " what are you doing here"
" I'm here for the wedding"she said
" uh" he looked at Ally " the wedding?"
" it's okay.. I invited her family" Ally said
" you did.." he said " you didn't tell me this"
" I wasn't missing my friends wedding" Carly smiles at him

" thanks" he said " babe can I talk to you by the Hammock real quick.. it's about the baby.. important baby stuff.. like the gender because no one knows but the two of us" he said guiding Ally's shoulders

" you invited her?" He finally said
" yes I did!" She responded
" why?" He asked rolling his eyes
" because she's your friend apparently " she said crossing her arms " and her parents are best friends with your parents"
" but she broke us up!" He replies
" YOU broke us up!" She said in exasperation
" ughh okay.. okay.." he said backing down " you know I'm getting tired of you using that against me."
" then stop blaming people for your dumb mistakes" she replies
He sighed
She exhales
" She didn't have to come to our house tho" she said " I didn't invite her to dinner"
" Frank and Debbie are here I assume that's why she's here too" he said
" makes perfect sense" she said 
" you mad at me ?"She asked
" no.. I'm just  caught off guard" he breathes
" sorry" she mumbles
He scratches his head
" it's fine." He waves without looking at Carly  "I'm just shocked considering you don't like her very much" he said
" I know.. but.. i was trying to be nice.. you know since Carly and I had the talk at your cousins wedding i thought we evolved from hate to a strong dislike .. but if she tries to stop us from getting married me and baby will be kicking her ass" she said in all seriousness
" yes fight for my honor.. that's so fucking hot" he smiles biting his lip and pumping up His fist
She rolled her eyes " If this kid is anything like you I'm in deep shit"
He kisses her forehead and holds her stomach " see even baby is excited kicking up a storm in there"

She puts her hands on his smiling She tip toes and kisses him before they walk back

" sorry guys" Austin said leading ally to her seat
" no problem.. it's not that my kids we're starving or anything while you two had a little pow wow in the corner" Trish said

The couple sit down

" doesn't matter now, let's get dinner started" Midge said

" so Allison.." Debbie ( Carly's mother) said clearing her throat " dinner is delicious"

" thank you, Austin and I made it together" Ally said " and it's just Ally"

" the Back patio is gorgeous" Mike said

" my kid has always had an eye and ear for all things artistic" Lester said

" she sure does! Back in school Ally was a musical genius" trish said

" true even in art class she had the best finger painting" Dez added

" she did" Piper said " her drawings and paintings were always soo cool"

" guys stop you're making me blush" Ally smiles
" embrace it, you have talent kid.." Austin kisses her cheek " she's sick at what she does.. oh excuse me while I gas up miss Allison here"

Carly swirls around her salad rolling her eyes

" she's so artistic everything back here including all these cool little nick nacks  was made by yours truly" he bragged

" it's nothing" Ally said shyly

" and all the paintings and stuff hung around, all by her" he added " and you absolutely HAVE to hear her sing, and play instruments.. she's definitely way better than piano than I am, but I'm better at guitar" he said
