Sophie's POV
(Listen to smoke and fire by Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Blood by Taylor Swift, and Shower by Becky G to understand what's happening...)
We arrive at the dance and headed inside. The song playing is the ending of Shower by Becky G. The boys came earlier to reserve our table at the dance. I was smiling until my eyes darting to this: a happy Marella dancing with... Fitz! Bad Blood was playing so I decided to sing along.
"Now we got problems. And I don't think we can solve them. You made a really deep cut. And baby now we got bad blood!" I sang. I really didn't like Taylor Swift but the song seemed to be playing at the perfect time. Biana went dancing with Tam, Linh with Dex, and Keefe struggle during to dance with an overly excited Stina. I had been sitting down at our table listening to music play and watching my friends have fun for like a life time. Then Smoke and Fire started to play. I know Sabrina Carpenter didn't mean it like actual smoke and fire but I had had enough of literal smoke and fire for a life time. So I ran out of the dance and went down a hall. I was crying with my back against some lockers and my head in between my knees.
"Sophie?" a perfectly soothing accented voice said.
Sorry the chapter is so short! But I think you guys will really like the next few chapters! I'll update soon! I'd really like some feedback on how my writing is though! Thanks for reading my story!
