"I guess dare," I mumbled. I'd rather shave my head then admit to Fitz I actually liked him. Plus, there are elixirs that can help my hair grow back quicker.

"okay... shoot, I'm drawing a blank. Can I phone in a friend to help me come up with a dare?" Fitz asked. I opened my mouth to answer but Biana interrupted. 

"yes... and I'll help," she answered quickly. 

"fineeeee," I sighed. Sometimes the Vackers were so picky. 

"okay, boys AND girl put these on," Biana demanded handing everyone but me a blindfold. "now Sophie, you need to go up to the person who you have a crush on and kiss him. Go on," Biana said putting on her blindfold. I bit my lip.

"okay," I stood up. Everyone's blindfold was on.

"oh, real quick. The person who gets kissed isn't aloud to say anything to make it more mysterious and fun," Biana teased. 

"anytime now, soph," Linh said quietly. 

I walked around the circle twice before stopping in front of the boy with teal eyes. I was more screwed then if I had picked truth. I bent down in front of him and his breath caught as he noticed my presence. I leaned in slowly and gently pressed my lips to his. I pulled away and set myself down in my seat. everyone pulled their blindfolds off and Fitz did a good job pretending he didn't know who kissed him. 

"i'm bored now," Marella said. Everyone agreed. 

"any other good games we could play?" Keefe asked curiously. 

"how about 'sleep'?" Tam suggested. 

"sure, how do you play?" Ling laughed teasingly. Tam rolled his eyes at the fact no one liked his suggestion. 

"let's play hide and seek. I've heard of that human game. But it's kinda one person per team so I think we should do two person teams," Dex said. 

"um... sure. who's picking teams?" I asked. 

"so it's fair!" Fitz butted in as Biana raised her hand. 

"i'll do it since I suggested the game," Dex said.

"cool," Keefe agreed. 

"Marella and Keefe, Tam and Biana, Sophie and Fitz, and that leaves me with Linh," Dex smiled. I nervously went over to Fitz and he smiled. 

"who's counting first?" I wondered. 

"Linh and I will," Dex said. He quickly explained the rules to everyone and we headed out into the cold, dark night. 

"okay, everyone go!" Linh smiled. 

"follow me," Fitz whispered to me. he grabbed my hand and lead me down a hill and into a cave. at the back of the cave was a small hole we crawled through and it lead to a sheltered garden. vines and trees obscured any entrance or exit besides the small hole in the cave. there was a small lake in the center of the garden. gorgeous flowers and plants covered the whole landscape. he led me to a bench near the pond. 

"no one knows it exists except me. and now, you," he said, sitting down. I sat next to him. we sat in an awkward silence for awhile and I couldn't help but cry a little. 

"what's this about?" he wondered. 

"the kiss, I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure I ruined our friendship," I whined. 

Fitz sighed. "do you see me being weirded out?"

"no..." I whispered. 

"you're not a bad kisser though," he smirked and I blushed. 

"I'm sorry though," I told him again. 

"don't be."

"why?"

"I actually need to tell you something..." he trailed off, staring off into space.

"what?" I prompted.
