Someone once told me. "It doesn't matter unless it stands out."
I wondered how to reply to this, because this is false.
Some of the most beautiful things are silent and plain.
So I replied,
"Do you stand out?"
They did not have an answer for my question.
I wanted to say,
"Your statement was false. Beauty can blend in, you are a perfect example."
But I didn't.
I said,
"Thought so."
My mind and mouth need to communicate better.
