After a few minutes, Lin decided to get up and leave the living room to go find Evan and apologize, even though she still thought Evan's dream meant more than he thought it did. She went down the hallway, wondering if he had gone to the room they had slept in the night before, and then she saw him sitting at the kitchen table. His hands were propped up on the table and covering his face as if he was either in deep concentration or deeply saddened. When Lin entered the kitchen, he didn't look up, he didn't even move, even though her feet clearly indicated that she was nearing him. She stood behind him and placed her arms around him and leaning into him. She guided his hands down; away from his face and placed her hands in his.

"I'm sorry." Her chin caressed his shoulder while she spoke right next to his ear. He said nothing; the only sound was his steady breaths. "I'm sorry for questioning your dream so much. It was a strange dream, but I am thankful for it, because if you hadn't had it, I probably would have died in that snow. You saved me, and I'll always be thankful for that." When Lin was done speaking, Evan turned his head to look at her. His dark eyes stared at hers and they showed every emotion; all the love and desire he had for her. After a few seconds Lin was moving her face closer to his and then they were kissing, softly at first and then their pace quickened. It was like Lin was being pulled into Evan and as if he was being pulled into her. They continued to kiss while Evans hand guided her to come closer and to sit in his lap, and so Lin did. There was nothing better than being close to Evan. Lin situated herself in his lap and placed her arms around his neck. Their kisses lingered for what felt like seconds sometimes and then minutes other times. Evan began to move his lips away from Lin's, and he kissed her skin all the way down her neck. They were short meaningful kisses that showed how much he cared. His kisses were like mini shocks of electricity implanting into her skin and then making their way all the way through her body. His right hand moved up and down her back while her hands found their way to his soft dark hair. Evan's kisses moved back toward her mouth and they were kissing with more passion this time, it was as if with each movement of their lips and tongue they were trying to convey how much they really loved each other, how deeply involved they already were with each other.

"Lin, I think I'm falling in love with you." Evan said, breaking their kiss and placing his hand on her cheek while he said it. Lin moved her arms from around his neck and placed them on his chest. She stared into his eyes as he stared into hers. She felt like if there was really a string tied to both of them, it was getting shorter, pulling her into him at a faster pace. She knew people didn't fall in love this quickly or knows exactly how they felt about someone this quickly. It just wasn't something that happened every day. It certainly never happened to Lin. She thought that her silence would have made Evan doubtful that Lin loved him too, but he just remained the same calm as her was before and his thumb continued to stroke her cheek. She leaned into his touch, closing her eyes for a brief second before opening them again and speaking."

"Evan, I think I'm falling in love with you too." Lin said while moving one of her hands so she could hold one of his, so that she could feel the warmth that they provided and then she laid her head against his shoulder while he wrapped his arms around her. She wasn't sure about anything anymore, such as whom she really was or what really happened to her before Evan found her, but she was sure about Evan. She was sure that he was "the one" for her; she knew that they were meant to be with each other, just like this, embracing each other and feeling each other's warmth. It just felt right, more right than anything had ever felt in Lin's life.

Suddenly a scratch came at the door which prompted Lin to jump out of Evan's lap. And then she wasn't sure if she had really heard it until she looked back at Evan who was standing up too. Evan briefly placed his hand on her back to reassure her, and his expression gave a silent it's alright. Then he made his way towards the door.
