*Dylan's pov*
*Flash back*
I've been waiting. Six hours to be exact. I'm in the hospital, and the only person I've come to love is on her death bed. That person is my great aunt Sarah.
I was pacing around the waiting room on the verge of tears. When the doctor walked out to the room. He told me that my aunt was dying. I had already knew this, but I didn't want to accept it.
I had walked into the brightly lit hospital room to see my aunt lying down. I sat down on the chair next to her. She turned her head over to me and smiled a very weak smile. "Hello Auntie" I said quietly as I held onto her wrinkled hand. "Hello Dylan" she managed to say in an even quieter voice. It was as if we were in a competition to see who could be quieter."I love you Dylan" she said in barley a whisper. "I love you too Auntie I said in an equally quiet tone. She turned her head back over, away from me.
That's when I heard it, the heart monitor's famous loud beep that seemed to last forever. A tear had slipped down my cheek. And in that moment I became completely and utterly alone. I had no one.
The next few moments went a blur. Nurses and doctors were rushing into the room as if they could have saved her. They couldn't have. And they knew it. I let her hand go as tears poured out of my eyes. "I love you" I barley choked out as I left.
*Flash back end*
I stared at the huge house front of my new "home". Where I could be alone there instead. I carried my two suitcases up to the door. And then I knocked.
