Her eyes fluttered open, her shoulders aching as a weird sensation ran through her body. As the effects of whatever he had given her began to wear out, the tips of her fingers began to numb, but what brought her back to consciousness was the pain in her wrists. The rope cut deep into her pale skin, blood slowly trickling from the slits that began to form from the weight of her suspended body. Her once smooth chestnut hair was now dry and frizzy from the humidity, a few of the strands stuck to her face, matted down by the sweat that was forming around her face and dampened her scalp.
As her vision began to refocus, the dingy room became more clear, the only source of light being a flickering light bulb in the ceiling. In the distance, she could hear water dripping from an unseen source, drop by drop, as it hit the ground. Walls around her were an odd shade of grey, with some of them cracked, exposing the deep red bricks that held the room together. The floor under her was damp, from what she could see, for her feet were hanging loose and few meters above, like a carcass yet to be cut to pieces at the butcher shop. A trail of green moss ran from one of the corners and up the wall. A drop of sweat trickled down her back and a realization that the only piece of clothing that she had was her undergarments, that covered only the essentials.
Sweat began to pour out of every pore of her semi-bare body, glistening in the light that was emitted by the blub in the room. The scars on her abdomen, a cluster of pale white and faded lines, were highlighted by the sweat that began to slowly trickle down her body.
Tears began to sting the back of her eyes, the pain of the rope cutting at her wrists registering to her drug influenced brain. She began to tug at it, trying pull herself free from the restraints, the action only cutting deeper into her skin. She bit her lip, hard enough to draw blood, to stop the scream of pain that remained lodged in her throat and tears escaped her tired and terrified green eyes. She shook herself back and forth, the attempt only making her injuries worse. She couldn't stop the scream from escaping her lips, as the numbness had begun to spread down her arms.
"HELLPPP! Somebody help me!!!" Her screams echoed through the room, unknown to others.
