Hi, hope you enjoyed my book and sorry if it upset anyone. I wrote it help people understand that Pit bulls aren't monsters, they are like any other breed of dog. They just want to be loved and make their owners proud. People think that these dog love to fight but they don't, they do it because stupid people train them to. It's the owner who should be punished if they want to train their dogs to fight not the dog and those who have Pit bulls or have rescued them who don't train them to fight, thank you for being their voice, they really are great dogs.
My story is based on the Michael Vick case that happened in 2009 and Meggie the dog in my story is based on Vick's champion fighting dog Lucas, who did have Babesia and had to be put down on 19th June 2013 and the dog's name in my story is from a dog that comes to my college she was rescued from Romania so she gave me soon inspiration, I only based the dog and a couple of things in the story on the Vick case and Lucas, the beginning and the fight I made up.
