The first day of school was today. I was excited yet scared and a bit nervous. I was already downstairs waiting for my brother. It was 6:00a.m. and the sun hasn't risen, meaning it was still dark out.

"Trent I'm going to leave you!," I yelled from downstairs.

"You have no idea where the bus stop is!" Trent yelled back.

I turned my attention to mom who was snickering. "Mom, can you please tell Trent to hurry up before our bus leaves."

"Well I see you're eager to get to school on time," My mother laughed. "And Trent, Get your butt downstairs."

I smiled as I saw my brother fixing his hair while walking down the stairs.

"Are my two kids ready for their first day of school?" Dad asked.

"Listen, it is 6:04 and I don't want to come off rude but we don't have time for the First Day Of school talk, ok?" I sighed.

"Alright fine." Mom walked over, kissing both Trent and I on the cheek, "Have a safe and wonderful day."

"Will Try," Trent said.

I began walking towards the door opening it and turning around, "Bye Mom, Bye Da...Oh my god there is a frog AT THE DOOR!" I SHRIEKED.

"Oh my goodness," Trent muttered, pushing me through the door. Luckily, I didn't Step on it. That would have been a whole another situation.

We began our walk down the street. "Trent, I don't know If I'm ready for Junior Year. Everyone and everything is going to be new to me."

"Relax Sky. I know a decent amount of people that goes to my school so I know for a fact that I won't be alone."

I looked at Trent while walking, "Thanks for addressing my problem," Sarcasm hinted on my words. "I'm serious. What if people don't like me?"

"I know someone who definitely likes you," Trent wiggled his eyebrows. "Besides, who can hate innocent little Skylynn who wouldn't even hurt a fly?"

We turned the corner onto another street.

"Who? What if they dislike my face?" I questioned.

"False."

"What if they think I'm annoying?"

"True," Trent agreed.

"Trent!" I yelled.

"I'm kidding, just be cool Sky. There is nothing to worry about," Trent smiled. "Look, the bus stop is right there," Trent pointed to an area where a group of kids stood at waiting for the bus.

"I'll try..." I said, worried. My first day will probably be my worst day. It happens all the time On Tv.

"Oh, I see my lady friend over there," Trent smirked. "Good luck Sky," Trent said, before wiggling through the small crowd of kids to meet some girl. Maybe that's the girl at the mall he left with.

Well, I'm here by myself. That's cool. I'll just grab a seat on the bus by myself. Seconds later the bus pulled up with flashing amber lights that soon turned to red.

We began boarding onto the bus, some kids shoved and pushed their way through as others simply just waited their turn. I climbed up the steps and walking down the aisle of the bus finding an empty seat and taking it.

"Is this seat Taken?" A tall figure stood in front of me. I was hoping it was Hunter but It was a dark haired boy with a prominent sleeve of tattoos on his right arm. Although he was wearing the dress code, he still looked like a guy who can kill you with one punch. Basically, your typical bad boy.
