The new freshman at Alpine High, are told by the band instructor to report to the school's practice soccer field by 8:00 sharp for the first band camp for freebies of the year. Sam, and Bree both hates mornings. They report to the school before 8, not knowing eachother.
Bree's POV:
I get to the sidelines of the field, as I myself can't march. I was born with bones grinding together in my foot. I do my usual routine as a band kid, and sit and wait for everyone to get in their places after set, until I notice a small girl in a hoodie. "She's emo, and really cute" I say quietly to myself as I watch her march, and learn the basics of marching. Before I realize the day is over, and it's time to go home. I hope she didn't know I've been staring at her.."
Sam's POV: it's the first day of band camp. There's faces I haven't seen before, and some I wish I didnt. I mie about with a few people I know, and a new person named Alex. But one girl catches my eye. Breezy Freelimb, a junior. The older sister of a friend of mine. She's pretty I think to myself, as I look around at everyone to see who's all there. I was wondering why she wasn't marching, but she probably had an excuse anyway. For all of band camp, and marching season, her and I talked more, and I gave her a ring that I didn't want, she gladly accepted it. Never thought I'd meet someone like this that'd I'd have major feelings for.
As marching season comes to a close, Bree and Sam's relationship grows. They power through the year talking here and there, and gain a few photos of each-other over concert season. The end of the 2017-2018 school year comes to an end, and the last day Sam is standing with Bree in school still anxious from her playing test final. They hug for a few minutes straight and talk, the bell rings and the walk away from each-other when they split down the hallway to their 6th hours to take one more final for the year, and leave. Sam has a key get blush across her face and for once she feels okay.
