"Right here push it push it.... and done. 5:03 nice job that's not you best mile time but still." Coach said giving me a high five. "I'm telling you, you need to join the track team your an amazing runner." I just laughed and went to the field to stretch out. I was the fastest runner in our PE class. Ever since freshmen year coach has been pushing me to join the soccer, cross country, basketball, track, softball, basically any athletic team. I wasn't allowed to be on the team though and he knew that. So he didn't push on it much more after that.
"Okay Dawn ready for your cool down", he said looking at me. I nodded as my answer "run to my car and grab the 4 bowling pins in my backseat." I reached down to grab his keys by the clipboard. Once I had them I touched my toe then took off.
It was an easy run just to the front of the school. I went to his car and grabbed the pins. I turned around all four in my hand trying not to drop any. I know the school like the back of my hand every turn every long straight away. But if anything I know the track the best. I looked up to see the old tree that grows when I ran into something different.
"Hey watch where your going your going...." a guy started saying before he drifted off.
"Watch where I'm going I could say the same for you except I'm the only one on the ground." I said defiantly, Mila would be so proud.
"I'm sorry let me help you up" he smiled offering a hand to me. I took it then started to pick up pins.
"Thank you." I said as he helped me grab grab them.
"I'm surprised you haven't screamed yet or asked for a selfie." He had a curious but confused look.
"Why on earth would I do that." I stated laughing making him look even more confused than curious.
"You don't know me?" He asked with an amazed tone.
"I'm sorry I don't should I?" I ask while looking into his deep brown eyes.
"Cinderella coach wants to know what's taking you so long." Mila said interrupting my meeting. Mila has a think brown shoulder length hair with vibrant green eyes that could read anyone like a book. The mysterious stranger looked at me amused.
"I told you not to call me that." I tried to tell her but she didn't even pay me notice once she saw him.
"Oh. My. God. Is that Ethan Wilson." She said screaming and jumping up and down.
"Yes that is me it was nice to meet you but I left some paper work at home. I'll see you later.... Cinderella." Ethan said as he winked got in a black car and drove away.
"Oh My God you just talked to Ethan Wilson. I'm so jealous right now."
"Who's Ethan Wilson?" I asked confused.
"Ethan Wilson. The actor. The guy who I have hung up everywhere in my room. Ethan Wilson who had a rumor about him going back to real school to finish out his senior year." She started to babble.
"Oh that guy that your obsessed with okay we need to get back to coach don't want him waiting." I said trying to change the topic. I probably looked like a fool to him, "Oh and I said not to call me Cinderella."
"Come on I have called you that since you moved here when you were 14 and so has Zoey." She said as we walked back her with 2 pins and me with 2 pins. "And Ethan Wilson called you Cinderella. Don't worry though I'll back off and he can be yours."
"Please I'd rather lick a dog then talk to that again." She just laughed as we showed up at the track. We placed the pins in lanes one. Three in the back and one in the front of them. Coach already had the soccer ball ready. The games was you had to kick the ball and knock down all pins. We already had a few other sets of pins up but he accidentally broke some last time. That's why we had to go grab the replacements.
Once class was over I heard to my fifth and final hour of the day. Sports medicine was my way of being apart of the sport. Not that I was but I could be in the future. I walk into class after telling Mila and Zoey good bye. Zoey has black long hair that touched her hips. She a brown eyes with flecks of gold and green in them.
I sat down at my desk and went to talk to the girl behind me named Brenda. We talked for a second before the bell rang. I turned to face my teacher for our beginning lecture. We started in on our lesson when our school counselor walked in. He extanged a few words with our teacher before facing towards us.
"Students we have a new student. He won't start school till tomorrow but there are some rules we need to lay out. Everything will continue as normal. You will treat him like a normal student. In school he is not someone you see in the news. And last please don't feed into paparazzi." Our counselor spoke to us.
We all nodded until Brenda spoke up, "Who is it?"
"The students name is Ethan Wilson." I immediately grunted as girls started to squeal. He had a small chuckle then left probably to announce this to other classes too.
Once the bell ring I grab my stuff then ran to my locker. Since we had block schedule I had twenty minutes before school technically got out. I ran out to the track and set down my stuff. Then I got lost in the rhythm of my heart beat and let my worries flow through me.
