"Point your toes. 2,3,4. Look up. 5,6,7,8." Good job pirouette. 1,2,3." I chanted to the group of 11 year olds. I continue walking around and taking moments to do some dance moves with the young girls to help give reminders. The class will be over soon then I can rush off to my waitressing job up town. "Okay girls that was great, good job I'll see you next week remember to tell your guardian about the costume check we should get them in about two weeks max."
"Bye Dawn."
"Thank you miss Dawn"
"See you next week Dawn."
"Don't worry I'll practice."I smiled as the little girls bid me farewell and left.
"Oh thank you so much Dawn if you didn't help teach some of these classes I don't know what I'd do."
"Anytime Liz thank you for giving me the job." I reply with great gratitude.
"Oh hunny." She said with a smile as she pinched my cheek causing me to laugh.
"Do you need a ride to work I'll give you one.""Thank you by I'll just take the bus."
"Oh hunny you need a car those things are nasty." I just laughed as she hugged me then I walked off.
The bus station was about half a mile from the dance studio. And I worked about 7 miles from the station. I could walk or run that but I don't want to show up sweaty and gross when I have to serve food. I work at a more high end restaurant too. I'm glad I have work today so I won't have to be home long when the clients are over. However, they are probably going to come and eat here. Which also means that Sabrina will request me to serve them.
"I thought you had to work." I voice I didn't want to hear again dragged me from my thought.
"I do I just got off one and am heading to another." I say a little irritated.
"Geez how many jobs do you work."
"Enough"
"Really well where all do you work."
"Physical therapy intern. But I also clean after. Dance teacher. And waitress."
"Wow where do you waitress at."
"What's with the questions." I was so close to the bus station only two more blocks.
"I'm curious want a ride."
"I'll take the bus but thanks." I say with a forced smile.
"Come on it'll make me feel better."
"Okay and is that supposed to change my answer." I really wish I would have excepted that ride from Liz nom.
"Yes it is I'm on my way to The Angel's Castle you probably work at a diner on the way over right." I freeze and look at him. No no no he can't go there that's where I work. "Well. You gonna get in."
"I don't even know you." I say as I get in.
"Yay she gave into peer pressure everyone." He chuckles. I forced myself to not smile. "So where do you work princess?"
I scowled at him causing him to laugh. "The Angels Castle." This time he looked shock and had to do a double taking leading me to be quite satisfied.
"They only higher like really professional people never high school kids." I don't know if I should be offended or take that as a complement so I don't respond. "Sorry hat came off jerk like."
"Not as dumb as he looks folks." I quote as I look out the window we're pulling up to the restaurant now and a valet walks up to the car.
"That's from a movie isn't it."
