Chapter 4: What Are You Doing Here?

Virgil's POV

I left the drama club with a small smile on my face and only one audition on my mind, Roman's.

I leant against a wall,putting my head back and looking up to the sky.

His handsome, princely face, his deep eyes like a muddy puddle but in a good way, his determination, his.. No Virgil. You're just comfused because you enjoyed his audition and thats all.

I removed myself from the wall and started to walk around the edges, trailing a finger across the rough brick until I felt a carving of sorts. I looked at what my finger was trailing and I didn't know what to say or do so I just stood there, frozen while I stared at it 'Prince x Emo'.

Roman is the only one called Prince in school and I'm the only... No, it could be talking about anyone plus why do you care, it's not like you like him or anything. You hate him and you know you do, just get over this already you stupid waste. I mean seriously why would he like someone as pathetic as you?

I moved away from the wall again, turning my back to the carving, afterall it's not like it has anything to do with me. I walked slowly to mine and Logan's usual spot and sat there, waiting for the bell to ring so I wouldn't be alone down here. I pulled up my hood and put on my headphones, letting musuc flow through me as I waited.

Roman's POV

As soon as the bell rang I jumped up, grabbed Patton and strode over to Logan's classroom after Patton told me where it was. Of course a smart nerd like him would be in the highest class. He was walking out when we stopped him, with Patton tapping him on the shoulder.

"Hii Logan! I was wondering if me and Roman could sit with you at lunch!". Logan pushed up his glasses with a sigh.

"No, my friend doesn't like you and I personally have no specific want or wish to comply to your demands. It took a lot of back and forth until Logan relented, leading us to under the bleachers where the adorable emo sat, listening to music. Logan tapped him shoulder and he removes his headphones, turning to me and Patton and said "What are you doing here"
