Feeling Bad and The Ending

Hi, It's been a year and I'm sorry. I know a lot of you loved this story and are dissapointed so I'm going to try justify myself and then tell you my intended ending for the story. Who knows, I might write it out properly but for now, I don't want to leave you on any more cliffhangers.

Why I didnt update/ my disappearance from wattpad

There are a few reasons for this, first of all is distancing myself from old friends and bad memories that were caused by this website. I was in a toxic friendship group which I met through here and it saddened me when I looked at it.

Secondly I hated my old work, I felt ashamed of what I had written and moreso that it was popular.

Thirdly tradgedy struck my family again, my stepdad is dying from cancer, this time its terminal.

Now, what the rest of the plot/ the ending was supposed to be

Roman gets the role in Virgil's play and the teacher encourages Virgil to take part and become one of the main characters. Roman and Virgil build a bond while rehersing and it eventually comes to opening night.

Before opening night, Virgil had written a confession note and stuffed it in his pocket alongside the note his character was supposed to drop for Roman's character when he died. Virgil accidentally drops the wrong note and almost reads it outloud, thinking its his lines then he realises its not and the performance goes as normally.

When backstage, Roman accepts Virgil's confession and they start dating.

Its closing night and as the cast are taking their final bow, everyone fades but Patton, who looks older and is clapping at an empty stage.

As older Patton walks through the school, everything looks smouldered.

The reason Patton knew everything was because he was reliving his memories with his friends. Roman, Virgil, Logan and many others died the night of the closing night, a fire started and was too out of control for people to escape, especially those near the stage.  The firemen took too long and a lot of students and teachers perished, Patton was one of the few survivors that night.

That was the planned ending the whole time. I hope this makes up for my absense and I hope you understand why I couldnt bring myself to write it. I hope you all understand and thank you for the support.
