He knew he made the right choice. There was no one in the whole world who was able to be just like his flower.
'There you are!', Hansung cheered as he saw the prince running towards him. He gasped when he saw him wearing make up. 'You...! How did you get out of your room like that?'
'The queen isn't feeling well, so my mother is taking care of her', Yeowool replied as he sat down on a stump of a tree. 'Do you want to eat? I've brought some lunch with me.'
'Sure.' The younger watched Yeowool grab his bag and open up a small box made out of cane. Four freshly baked pork buns were inside. 'Be careful, they're still hot.'
It's been a long time since the "kiss on the hand" incident in Okta. They met every four days in the forest, and if they wanted, they always had the chance to send a letter. It was sure that they already had become best friends. They often talked about their problems. Hansung being the only person who can bring succes to his family, and Yeowool being the prince the queen depends on.
'Becoming an adult sounds just too terrifying', Hansung said. 'How could you even deal with it?'
'I don't know.. I still feel like I'm acting like a kid sometimes. You know, running away from the palace just to avoid boring meet-ups or discussions.'
Hansung snorted. 'But that really is boring!'
'I heard the queen wanted to create some kind of army, I don't even know. Silla isn't even strong enough to care for their own people.'
They both started eating. 'Hmmm, you know', Hansung hummed. 'Sooho got caught cheating on two women.'
'Why doesn't that surprise me?', Yeowool mumbled with his mouth full. 'He really needs to learn some manners.'
'I think it's just weird... Why would you hunt for every girl in the capital?'
'He doesn't know how to make female friends, that's just the problem. But most females here care about three things.'
' Manliness', Hansung immediately said.
'Money', Yeowool added. 'And status.'
'If we ever find the perfect woman we'd attend eachothers wedding, right?'
'Of course! But it might take a very long time. I haven't seen anyone that catches my attention.'
'Me neither...'
They continued to chat for another good two hours until Hansung quickly got up. 'Oh no! I forgot I had to buy some fruit for the family. I'm sorry hyung, we can catch up in Okta tomorrow!'
'Sure, see you tomorrow then!', Yeowool shouted. He grinned a little bit as he saw the boy disappear between the trees. He decided to pack his bags and return to the palace. Secretly he just hoped to come across Hansung but there's no way that would happen. That boy went faster than a horse whenever he's in a hurry.
