* Is red the only colour that glows?
Yes. No other colour glows.

* Why is there no online information on the glowing red colour change?
When people are given the strings, they must sign and agree to a code of conduct, which explains everything about the strings. But since no one really reads the terms and conditions (because it's always too long to read), it is more likely individuals run into the trouble of the glowing red string.

* Was Lucas in love with Alex?
Yes he was. Hence why he left the town. His string had turned glowing red and then eventually turned white. Forgetting all memories of Alex. Which is also why he did not explain to Alex why he decided to leave. Because he had no memory of her or had any idea of her existence.

* Why didn't Alex's string glow with Lucas? Even after he left.
Because she was upset he left her without an explanation, but at the same time she was still in love with him but not strong enough to make her string glow.

* Did Jihoon move to the same town as Alex?
Yes, he did. However, he did not move there intentionally because Alex did. That would be stalker-ish. He moved there to look for a job.

* How many times has Alex's string glowed red?
Only once, with Jihoon. She fell in love with him in the past. Hence why she has no memories of him but he does of her when they encounter each other in the café.

* Did Alex's mother's string glow red?
Supposing it did. Since, her mother would have been trying to contact her daughter after so many years if her string did not glow red.

* Where did Alex's mother find specialised glasses for people who are colour blind?
She worked as an optician. Although, I decided not to place this in the story since I wanted it to be more dramatic. Also, remember that this is an alternate reality, anything can be created.

* Why was Alex so interested in the "Strings of Fate"?
Because she was. It was just part of the plot for the main character to have interest in the colour changing strings.

* Is the nano technology 'The chameleon package' real?
No. I read about how chameleons change colour due to their mood. They have specialised cells called chromatophores - which contain different colours of pigment. I made the name up inspired by the chameleon's change of colours.

* Are Marie Wilson and Alistair Greene real people?
No. They are fictional characters in the story.

* Did Jihoon love Alex?
Yes. Although, his string did not glow red. It was just a regular red colour change.

* Why did Jihoon's parents abandon him?
Because they were worried that Jihoon's love would continue to grow for them, which only results in his string to glow red and lose his memory of them. The only way to prevent him from losing his memory of his parents was for them to abandon his love.

* Does Jihoon still love Alex?
He can't. He is worried he would lose his memory of her. Which is why his string stays green when he encounters her.

* Why didn't Jihoon stop Alex from falling in love with him, keeping her string from glowing red and losing her memory of him?
He was more depressed about his parents abandoning him. So his focus wasn't on how Alex was feeling.

* Did Eunwoo know about the glowing red colour change?
No. He was only concerned about his love for Alex and her colour blindness.

* Did Jihoon know about the glowing red colour change?
Yes. His parents were scientists after all. Especially after they experimented on him, he discovered a lot.

* Why didn't Jihoon warn Alex about the glowing red change?
Because he was convinced she would not believe him.

* Did Joshua know about the glowing red colour change?
Yes. Which is why he tried to remove his string in the library, and did so successfully afterwards.

* Why doesn't Joshua warn Alex about the glowing red change?
He technically does, but not directly. It is because he knows how to resolve it. Although it resulted in pain.

* How does the red glowing string work?
When the red begins to glow, it indicates that you, as an individual have grown to love another, very much. If it continues to glow for at least a month, after a week or so, your memory of the person you fell for is erased. Unless the string is removed immediately.

* Why does it hurt when you remove the string?
In the terms and conditions that people with strings agreed to, there was a punishment if the string was to be removed manually. It would burn your skin, marking your wrist to where the string would've been before removal.

* Is the string compulsory to wear?
No. Since babies and children would've been unable to wear them. Anyone who chooses to get one, is accepted to receive one. Although it is only available for people who are 16+.

* Will there be a continuation?
I don't think so. Sorry. It was a short story for a reason.
