Lauren opens her eyes as Mitch aggressively shakes her.
"What?" She mumbles still half conscious.
"You need to jump now." He demanded as he ran down the docks.
Lauren stood up, pain shooting through her chest, but she ran anyway. She followed Mitch down the dock eyeing the boat that was getting away. Mitch ran off the deck and stumbled onto the boat; Lauren at the edge finding the strength to jump.
She landed with a loud thud onto her back. She gasped for air as her whole body began to ache.
"Lauren. Lauren come on." Mitch grabs her and drags her down the stairs.
She looks around confusingly as her vision dims.
"Mitch I-it hurts." She took a deep breath, as he lifted her to lay her on the small boat bed.
"I'll be back." He runs up the steps as Lauren's eyes roll to the back of her head.

"LAUREN WAKE UP." Mitch shouted making Lauren jolt.
She looked down seeing blood trailing down her chest and smeared along Mitches arms.
"LAUREN." Mitch screams but his voice is muffled.
The boat takes a harsh turn, throwing Mitch and Lauren against the wall.
"Fuck Lauren come on. We have to go." He pushed off against the wall and grabbed the railing to the stairs, Lauren doing the same but in a less smooth way. She made her way upstairs, passed Brandon's lifeless body on the floor, and looked up to see a helicopter.
Mitch grabbed the boats wheel and accelerated, the increasing wind making Lauren stumble back. A ladder hit the deck floor from the helicopter and Lauren already felt light headed. Her vision blurred but she forced her eyes opened and she forced her way towards it. She gripped it, looking to Mitch as he grabs a black backpack with a timer strapped to it and throws it off the boat. Lauren looked up at Stan who was holding his hand out, she made her way towards him, climbing slowly.
"Lauren hurry." Mitch grips onto the ladder, quickly climbing.
Lauren begins to freak out as her eyes began to see black spots. She gripped Stan's arm, he pulled her on to the floor as she screeched in pain.
"Something happened." She said as blood doused her whole shirt.
"Keep your eyes on me, okay?" Mitch hovered over her as he ripped her shirt open to reveal the poorly bandaged wound.
He unraveled it and blood squirted on to his face while he quickly wrapped his hands on the wound, applying pressure.
As Mitch pushed down, Lauren began to cough out blood.
"Mitch keep that pressure we are almost to land." Stan directed as he looked out of the window seeing the huge explosion of water rising into the air.
"Oh god I'm going to die." Lauren sobbed.
"No you're not, just look at me." Mitch brought his face over hers and kept eye contact with her, but she was looking straight at the ceiling.
"I can't look at you." She whispered.
"Just look at me. You're going to be fine." He comforter but tears still streamed down her face.
"I can't see." Her eyes stay locked on the ceiling.
"What do you mean?" He questions.
"Exactly What I said Mitch all I see is fucking black." At this point she can't even feel her body and her eyes begin to get heavy but she bats her eyes open.
"You're okay." Mitch repeats trying to not only to comfort her, but to comfort himself too.
