"Oh didn't you know? I'm Harry, and Vick's my father"

Scarlett just stared up at 'Harry' which she just noticed was about 5 inches taller than her; her mouth agape.

No wonder he's such a dick, she thought, like father like son.

She was at a loss for words as Harry spoke up once again

"Such a shame that I'm the reason you got fired"

he said in such a mocking tone that she almost gagged in disgust.

That was, until she finally spoke her initial thoughts

"You know what you are? you're a low- life prick, you know that. And you know what, I'm actually glad I got fired, because that means I won't have to see your fathers repulsive face ever again, or hear his insults for that fact. So thank you." She replied as dryly as she could muster.

"Oh and one last thing, you know that saying 'like father, like son' ? well it's more than accurate in this case"

She added and with that, she turned around towards her office, hands in tight fists.

But she didn't even make it two steps in her office's direction when she felt a forceful hand tug at her wrist which made her return to her previous position.

She grit her teeth in acknowledgement that Harry was the one that had yanked her to her previous position.

Only this time, his body was only a couple of mere inches away from her own.

"You know, I could easily get you your job back, you would just have to do a little begging and well, do a couple of favors"

Harry whispered, both ever so seductively and intimidatingly as his lips brushed gently across the upper part of her ear.

She could practically hear the smirk forming on his lips as the word 'favors' rolled off his tongue.

Scarlett's breath hitched and she was doubting if she would ever recover it.
Her knees weakened at the proximity of their body's, almost pressed against each other's. But she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of his current effect on her.

That's when she finally recovered her regular breathing pattern and spat out the following words so sadistically and without hesitation

"Ha. You know, I didn't think you could go any lower than you already had, but you beat me. Reality check, You're a repulsive prick that thinks that everyone's going to take any offer you lay down for them, as extreme as it may seem, in exchange for favors. We'll not me. And first of all, I don't even want this job, I already have one waiting for me right when I walk out the door of this same building. So thanks for the offer, but no."

and even she was surprised at the fact she didn't stutter during any point of that whole rant, as when she gets nervous she stutters when speaking.

She then put on the fakest smile she could manage and turned around and walked toward her office, this time, no one stopping her.

-

When she was already in the comfort of her soon to be ex- office, she locked the door behind her and slid down against it to end up in a sitting position on the floor, back leaning against the door itself.

She then mentally punched herself for saying that she already had a job waiting for her, when in reality she didn't even know for how long she'd have to go without one. Suddenly, she thought about going back outside and accepting Harry's offer but she quickly snapped out of the idiotic contemplation she had just had.
