After a long few seconds of blinking the bleariness from her eyes, Zala rolled onto her back, gazing up at the black canopy cast over the tall bed frame. A subtle movement in her peripheral vision caused her to turn her head. She laid eyes on the relaxed form of T'Challa, sitting against the headboard with a book in his lap. Zala never had time to read when she was in Ethiopia. She was constantly busy protecting the villagers or striking deals with other nations. And she was practically doing it alone since her father was constantly at her mother's bedside. He wanted to savor every last moment he had with her before she passed on to the next life.

His dark gaze lifted from the page he was invested in and settled on Zala's figure. T'Challa slightly folded the corner of the page he was on and shut the book, placing it on the nightstand beside him. He laid back down in the bed and caressed the woman's face.

"Mholo, my love" He spoke. "Mholo" She smiled, sliding closer to him so she could lay on his chest. He wrapped his arm around her protectively, rubbing his hand up and down her arm. This is what Zala had wanted her whole life. Just her and him, living a peaceful, happy life.

"What time is it?" She questioned. "Almost eleven" He says. "I never sleep this late. How come you did not wake me?" Zala asks, looking up at him. "It was our first night together and I wanted you to sleep in. I figured you didn't get much sleep in that village" T'Challa said. He was right. Zala would be up at all hours of the night. If someone came while she was asleep and over powered her few soldiers, the village would be taken. Then the city. So she would stay up all night and get a few hours of sleep in the morning.

"Thank You" She says. "But now that you are awake, we must start getting ready for Korea" He says. T'Challa stands from the bed, dressed only in black satin pants. Zala admired his muscular back as he walked to his closet. She then got up and looked out the window. Her hands glided over her light pink chemise. The room had the best view of the kingdom. You could see everything, even the distant seas. Zala went to the bathroom to change her clothes. Nakia told her they would be going to a first-rate, exclusive casino, so she would need to dress very classy. She picked a tight, long sleeved purple dress with a jewel on the belt that T'Challa had given her.

Once she changed her dress, she pulled half of her hair into a ponytail and left the rest flowing. Zala walked back into the bedroom and took her totem off of the nightstand, clasping it around her neck.

"Wow" She heard from behind her causing her to turn around. T'Challa stood in black slacks with a half buttoned black dress shirt. In his hands were a black and silver suit coat. "You look beautiful" He said. Zala blushed, walking up to him and buttoning his shirt. "And you look very handsome, My King" she placed her hands on his chest. He placed his hands over hers and they put their heads together. A knock came at the door before it opened, revealing Okoye. "It is time to leave" She said.
