When Zala had awoken, she was back in Wakanda, laying in her and T'Challa's bed. Her blurred vision focused on her King, who was asleep in a chair next to her, holding her hand. She attempted to sit up, the sudden shift in movement causing T'Challa to stir awake. His eyes widened at the site if her awake, he instantly sprung to his feet, helping her sit off and swing her feet off of the bed.

"My Princess, you have finally awoken. I was so worried" he spoke. Her shoulder was wrapped in a white bandange, a small sensation of pain coming from the wound, letting a bit of a groan slip from her mouth. "Are you in pain?" He asked. "Not much, I will live. I'm just glad you're here" She stood and he wrapped his arms around her waist. "There is no place I'd rather be" T'Challa said before connecting their lips. His lips were so smooth, like silk.

They stayed like this for a few minutes before T'Challa pulled away. "Change your clothes, I want to take you somewhere" Zala noticed that she was still dressed in her outfit from America, one sleeve of the shirt she was wearing cut off for easy access to the wound. "You say that often" She laughed. "Why, there are just so many beautiful things I want to show you" He laughs. Zala pecks his lips and walks off to the closet to find something to wear.

She decided on a patterned skirt and an off the shoulder top. T'Challa and Zala left their room and headed outside. She was surprised to see that there were no Dora Milaje around. Not even Okoye. They spoke to one another as the day lessened. "T'Challa, where are you taking me?" Zala asked. "It is a surprise" He said.

She looked at him as he looked at her out the corner of his eye, smiling. She had no idea what was going on and he loved it. "Can I at least guess?" She asked. "Absolutely not, that just ruins the surprise. Just trust me my love, you're going to like it" He said. The two walked, hands tightly clasped together, until they got to a point where T'Challa covered Zala's eyes.

"I truly do not see the point in this, T'Challa" She said as he led her. "Hush, we will be there in one second" He spoke. The rustling of leaves could be heard before they came to a final stop. "Can I open my eyes now?" Zala asked. "Yes" he said placing his hands on her shoulders. Zala opened her eyes to a plethora of color.
