Close your eyes imagine the sky and the moons above your head, the gods blessing you with imortality, for your beauty has no comparison my dear Helena Romanos you are blessed beyond satisfaction now get out there and avenge your mind and soul to the gods for they will be stunned by your eyes, your courage and words.

This was my ritual, i was Helena and i decided what i wanted in life more than living for the sake of taking in air was more, i rather take in everything thrown my way i wanted to be in the middle of the cosmos, i wanted to see what else the world offered, i ached for the life source of the worlds. I showered earlier and placed my robes above my head i was heading to the temple it was quiet on a sunday afternoon. The heat of the sun cursed my skin and the hair around my neck was moist from the summer days to come past, the center palace rose above in the distance the temple was right in the middle of it all, surging as a pyramid in the middle of the arabian dessert. i took little horse with me and rode as fast as i could towards the castle, Anubis was one of the most high praise gods, he meant dead and defeat, he meant salvation  and devotion to the death, i studied his sacred words with my college Ammon wich i bet was about to reprimand my tardiness.

The temple was quiet as the dead not many living people came here, supposely it made them feel suppresed angst with suffering and as they ran away i laughed, i found it coniving the way people felt towards the dead why? i asked myself every night, this ghost that mound the world were once living like us, they shared our ideals, they shared our weight, we must not be intimidated, but appraised with divine joy to see that there is somewhere else out there, somewhere we will go one day.

"you are late, as always" Ammon made a awful face that triggered some strange and uncommon feeling of anger and agitation inside of my little body as i tied little horse to the outskirts of the pole to the entrance of the temple, patted his nose and strode right in the middle of the mouth, the crystal black floors made from starts glinted in the middle of June the dirt and sand covered the half of the entrance and as i walked towards the tomb of Anubis that same ghost covered me from head to toe, it was an entity present here, someone watching over me, someone that was watching my steps my studies we were nearing something some mortal would deem impossible something that was almost unattainable to most living prince and kings, they would kill for it, they would go to war, they would forfeit their kingdoms, Ammon was my the only mortal i knew would help me get by my studies back on track i remember that i started it all when my parents died by mortal fate, death claimed them soom, but i never blamed no one, it was life and death, and all i could do is bring something this world needed deeply

Hope of something more

"how far are you with the Anubis bible"

We had set up a small institute at the center of the temple a tomb was set up and the candles were ignited but with the sun high in the sky there was enough light to last us till next dawn.

Ammon brushed my side as his dark hazelnut eyes scanned my face looking for an intro to my search

"talk now or keep it for the dead Ammon"

he shook his head and smiled faintly

"hear this out, in the book of mortals on the very brim of the last chapter Anubis fell in love with a mortal soul, said she was taken unjustly by a murderous king that wanted her in marriage for her beauty"

i sighted

"gets interesting keep on"

he had the tick book with a golden cover in his hands his black hair looked musty in the darkness

" said there was a ritual only the demon itself knew how to succeed, it required many blood trials, but at the end imortality was givin to Anubis beloved for they lived in the realm of the gods forever"

he stared at me, from the very cover of the old book, and as his smile reborn i saw in his eyes the hope i had been waiting for.
