So they start in Minas Tirith in the bottom right, travel over the mountains through Edoras (capital of Rohan), through the Gap of Rohan and Isengard, and north past Moria to Rivendell. Then, they head west through Bree, the Shire, and then north finally to Annuminas. Angmar is up north.
The Rangers of the North had three major "kingdoms"- Rhudar, Cardolan, and Arthedain. Arthedain was destroyed by the Witch King of Angmar last (mentioned in ROTN Chapter One). Annuminas, the capital city of the northern lands, is where the new kingdom will be established by Aragorn.
