The depths are a force to be reckoned with. Though water sink and river flow, they show not what lie beneath. Those who trespass the trenches and deep places of the waters will find themselves off the edge of the map. From what life seen is not and fluid forces felt are not, they still seek to change and influence what their domain does not conceal. I speak as though there is time enough for me, but i have not but a glimpse left of life as I wait upon my deathbed.
Scribe, tell not what you hear; Speak not of those who may seek to oppose you. For if you do, i fear the depths shall be opened and awakened shall be the beast of the deep. Like writhing tendrils it stalks the deep crevices, waiting for its time. Once one ventures too deep, they should not allow themselves to open the gates of dormant fury, for it would be better to be stung or swallowed by the guardians and keepers. They must make sure, through pain or death that none shall pierce the ocean deep and find themselves in the hands of the beast.
