THE STUDENTS OF LEVETT HIGH walked out of the school, heading to the pick-up area where their guardian will fetch them.
as students were waiting, one of the most popular kids at school, mark thomas, had been giving out invites for the party on friday, which was tomorrow.
"come to my place on friday for the best party you've ever attended!" mark said as he was handing invitations.
he had come across mackenzie, lauren, and annie, and handed out an invitation.
"you ladies coming?" he asks, the three girls exchanged looks.
"yeah, we are. thanks mark," lauren says.
"i was hoping we didn't go," annie says.
"why not?" mackenzie asks.
"i don't know, there's gonna be truth or dare again and they're gonna ask me about hayden and everything," annie says. people in school have always assumed that annie and hayden liked eachother even if they were only bestfriends. the thing was, annie did like hayden for a fact, but rumors are lauren likes him too.
"don't worry anns, just stay away from them." mackenzie replies.
"yeah, it's gonna be alright." lauren says, patting annie's back.
"do you think your brother's coming?" mackenzie asked lauren.
"well, he is in the basketball team and mark is so i'd expect he invited the whole team. but i don't know yet," lauren says.
suddenly, johnny had approached the three because he had to get lauren since they had to leave.
"lauren we've got to go," johnny says.
"oh alright, see you guys tomorrow." lauren says.
before they had left mackenzie and annie, johnny took a moment to look at mackenzie. strange.
