IT HONESTLY BOTHERED ME A BIT on how johnny just did our usual thing with another girl. it was our thing, but yet he thinks he can use what we do with girls he possibly likes. i honestly had hope that he liked me back, but now he's all over nadia.
after thinking about random stuff, i suddenly hear the imessage notification, grabbing my phone.

ruby r turner hey kenz!! i invited the gang to have a sleepover at my place!! can you come?? it won't be the same without you!!
kenz zieg who do you mean by 'the gang'?
ruby r turner yanno, like lauren, annie, hayden, and carson.
kenz zieg oh, so john isn't coming?
ruby r turner at least i don't think so. he's always with my sister and he won't answer my texts so i guess he isn't. but i'm not promising anything,kenzieboo.
kenz zieg okay then. i'm coming.

i then zip my barrel bag containing my pj's. but honestly, i'm a bit nervous. after our recent awkward conversation in the groupchat lauren made, everyone's gonna be interrogating me about johnny, and he even might be there!
i close the door of my room and sigh, heading downstairs.
"maddie! i'm gonna be at ruby's for a sleepover!" i yell in order for her to hear me.
"ooh, i bet john's going to be there and you'll sleep beside him!" she replies.
"shut up," i say, chuckling as i close the door.
after walking about three blocks, i finally arrive at ruby's doorstep, and ring the doorbell. 6:28, real slick.
"kenz! glad you could make it!" annie says, opening the door and hugging me. we then arrive at the living room, sitting on the bean bags and the couch.
"we also ordered pizza, hehe," carson says as he looks onto the screen as he plays fortnite with hayden.
"we ordered domino's if that's alright," lauren says, smiling in a rascal manner.
"shoot," i mutter to myself.
"why kenz? do you think your movie buddy will deliver some pizza?" hayden says as he presses the buttons of the controller.
the door suddenly opens whereas johnny has already removed his delivery boy cap and his shirt is unbuttoned as nadia grasps his arm, giggling and smiling.
"here's your pizza," johnny says, placing it on the coffee table as he wipes sweat to his forehead.
"hey kenz," johnny says, i look at him and make a fake smile.
"johnny! let's go do something in my room," nadia says, grabbing his hand and leading him onto her room.
everyone stays silent, and i cross my arms as i lean on the bean bag.
"aw, are you jealous?" ruby asks.
"no, i don't even like him." i say as lauren smirks.
"mhm, you so don't like him." carson says sarcastically.
"guys! i'm serious!" i convince.
"come on kenz, we already know. it's a bit obvious," hayden says.
"a bit? no way, it's super obvious!" annie says.
i sigh, then just looking at my feed on my phone.
