IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT, and i'm currently at my shift.
"hey kenz!" one of my friends here, brandon says.
"hey brandon." i say.
"do you mind if you take my shift? can't keep the projector rolling," he requests. brandon's role in the movie house is to operate the projector to keep the movie going.
"why?" i ask, smirking a little.
"well, i'm a bit sick." he says, attempting to cough afterwards.
"fine." i say, extending the 'ine' as i play along.
"thank you, thank you, thank you!" brandon says fast and runs out of the movie house.
i then step into the projecting room.

as i'm operating the projector, it's been a few minutes into the movie. wow, i wonder how brandon handles this, it's so boring.
i take a look at the seats from this high above room, seeing two familiar people. a boy and a girl.
he wraps his arm around her, smiling. she smiles too.
johnny and nadia.
i pout a little. what happened? a few days ago johnny said that she was a bit off, and now she's good again all of a sudden? don't get me wrong, i do wish the best for nadia but that was a bit quick.
i check how long we're into the movie. one more hour.
one more hour of being heartbroken.

the movie ends, and i shut down the projector, then moving out of the theater.
i go out of the movie place, and i see johnny and nadia standing together.
they look into eachother's eyes, and he leant in.
i sigh, then walking home.
