This is a horrible thing to have to do, but I've decided to stop writing this book.
As you may have noticed I've been publishing chapters at a rate of about once every six months. This is because I've been very ill for a very long time and haven't been able to write as a result. For a while now I've been promising chapters that I haven't been able to provide and it's not fair on you, the readers, to keep making those promises.
Thank you so much for the support and enthusiasm. You would not believe how much it means to me, honestly, thanks. This really fucking sucks but I'm not getting better any time soon.
I'm not going to be abandoning Wattpad entirely. I'm just going to stop publishing. So if you're dying to know what happens in the rest of the story I'd be more than happy to send you the plot (yes it's all planned out) and who knows, if anyone feels up to the challenge, I might give it to someone else to write.
Staying Alive was the first story (novel? does it count as a novel? I have no idea) that I completed. I think I started it when I was about thirteen and, though it's far from perfect and makes me cringe heavily at times, I'm still pleased with how it turned out and the response it received. I think Wattpad seriously helped my confidence as a writer grow, I owe so much to it, and to you, the people reading. It's a shame it all has to end like this, but it's been great. Thank you so much.
