"Are you okay?" I received a text message from Christina. I didn't text back. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw that my nose was still red and my eyes were swollen from crying. I needed to try and find a way to eliminate Anthony from my life, but it's hard because I live in his mothers house, with his sister.
Anthony and I had a toxic relationship only because he refused to believe me. How childish.
6:51 pm
I felt a small wet feeling in my underwear. Gross. It was a little bit of blood mixed with discharge. I got into the shower and when I got out I felt more discharge.
"Passing of the Mucus Plug. The mucus plug accumulates at the cervix during pregnancy. When the cervix begins to open wider, the mucus is discharged into the vagina and may be clear, pink, or slightly bloody. Labor may begin soon after the mucus plug is discharged or one to two weeks later."
I called Christina excitedly and told her what happened. All I need was my water to break.
9:10 pm
Aaliyah and Christina came home super late and were excited after hearing the news.
"Do you feel anything?" Ask Aaliyah.
"Nope I have felt a single cramp or kick." I said.
"Sometimes it happens days later." Explained Christina.
3:33 am /June 30th
I was woken up by probably the most painful thing ever. My contractions were extremely strong and they kept coming and leaving. I laid there for a second until it came back. I got up and called Christina. She ran into my room with eyes still squinted from sleeping and her blonde-grayish hair was messy.
"What's wrong????" She asked
"I think...I'm ready..."
