J U L I E T T E
"So what should I know?" I begin, as Richard led me to my new room. The halls were dimly light, giving a classy, mysterious feel. I looked about, trying to familiarize myself with every corner of the house so I don't get too lost.
"My biography is included in the booklet," He states plainly. I look down at my heavy booklet and a sigh escapes my lips. This was going to be so damn boring... "Okay... What are we going to do in the meantime?"
"We?" He arched an eyebrow. "I'm going to the studio. You stay here. The maid will prepare lunch for you and dinner as well." Great, so now I'm basically alone for the day. On the bright side that gives me time alone to get settled in and read over the stupid booklet.
"Richard," I say before he leaves. "Do I wait up for you?"
He gives me a w-t-f look. "You don't have to do anything. The show is outside, not in here." With that, he turns and I hear his steps off in the distance. I bite my lip, I don't want him to think I'm clingy, I just want to do my job as best as I can.
"Miss Juliette," I hear Alexandra say, and I turn to face her. "Is everything okay? Do you need anything." As if on cue my stomach grumbles really loud, begging me to feed it. Alexandra covers her mouth and looks down as if she's about to laugh.
"You can laugh," I chuckle, and she lets out a little laugh. Before she goes back into the kitchen I ask her to please help me figure out my way to my new room. She smiles and guides me. We stop before two white double doors, Richard's door is straight across and they are black double doors. I look at his doors for a second my heart beating a little faster unusually.
"Woah!" A gasp escapes my lips at the beautiful sight. The first thing you see is my bed, which is all white and there's draping around it like a bed for a princess. Next to it are two glass looking night tables, with white lamps propped on top. The room is huge, so everything is sprawled out and I have a lot of free space which I could utilize when I'm painting. I smile, and look about, running my hands over my vintage vanity, and the soft, beige colored couch by the huge window. The drapes are beige as well but have white ribbons holding them apart. Next stop is my closet. It is huge as well. Oscar was not lying when he said it was filled with clothes that all still had tags on them. I was probably drooling at the sight of them, even if they weren't really my taste. I just had never seen that much clothes in a closet before. I had a full length mirror and a sofa in front over by the shoe shelfs. I had about fifty pairs of shoes. Heels, flats, sandals, sneakers, and even casual flip flops for the beach and pool.
Alexandra then directed me over to my bathroom. Again, it was huge, and it had the white and soft beige aesthetic as my room. There was a jacuzzi and a regular step in shower, and many appliances for the hair too. She showed me the closet in which these and many other hygiene utilities were placed. I had a whole year's worth of towels it seemed, as with everything else.
