Gunther was as a magician when it came to handling mechanics from any Space-Craft and the Lunar Equation was like a sweet candy for him, he moved on the exterior of the ship with his three pairs of legs not worrying about falling down, his possible thumbs on each reptilian paw allowed him to walk in strange directions and awkward positions on the fully operational XXI Earth Century vessel from the parked in his Garage, a legend he thought, especially because he found this ship contained the first Ark Engine ever created by humans.
While Gunther was having fun checking the Lunar Equation, Layla showed Ariel the damaged ship.
- The stardust filters got wrecked by damn Barry. -Layla said profusely while looking for some scratches on the surface of the ship.
- And this means... what? – Ariel asked really intrigued.
- Well...basically, he fucked up the entire bi-phase generator which is the responsible for switching the current matter vibration speed. –Layla answered with a smooth tone.
- And by doing so, the matter changes from one light spectrum to another, right? –Ariel said while she walked slowly around.
- Indeed, and in combination with the effect from the Dark Engine, you can open a breach into the Cosmoway to ride the light roads- Layla smiled feeling fulfilled on teaching something new to Ariel.
- Amazing how all this technology let us travel across the Universe reaching places that previously seemed impossible to reach, and all it took was looking at the light from another angle. Amazing. –Ariel sighed.
Ariel was astonished by Layla's ship named The Black Zeppelin digging the outside of the vessel, all matte black covering the totality of the ovoid shape resembling a cosmic miniaturized version of the Hindenburg , going accordingly with Layla's Earth.
Ariel looked around the Zeppelin trying to figure it out how to access when she felt how Layla took her hand and smiled with a very childish and innocent expression. Both of them approach together to one of the sides of the ship and Layla emitted a couple of soft guttural noises with her throat, the exterior of the ship reacted in front of them and the surface material started moving in a liquid manner until it showed an opening, Layla went inside with Ariel holding hands.
- Come, I'll promise this will be like nothing you'd ever experience before. –Layla caressed her cheek while looking into her eyes. - time and space work differently on board – she said,- it's like a type of bubble, time passes differently and it's experienced also differently, either stretching it or reducing it.
Even thou Layla assume that perhaps the bio synchronicity environment of the Zeppelin could bring some issues with the human physiology, she took the risk and plug them together to see what happen. After entering, Ariel felt cold, very near to freezing temperature changing after a couple of seconds into a warm and comfortable temperature where she encountered herself floating softly and quietly in an absolute dark environment.
The first thing Ariel noticed was that were no sound, still, she didn't felt she was in an absolute muted place, she could feel something through her body like the sound of space passing through her. After a moment floating, she heard her name called by Layla feeling how she was holding her without touching, something that Ariel had not felt ever before, she touched Layla's smile hearing the touch of her skin against hers, tasting the voice and within all the darkness she blinked, for one moment she saw the perfume of Layla embracing her while she tasted the flavor of her sweat. Her senses went crazy exchanging all kind of sensations with each other creating a sense of bliss and satisfaction beyond any pleasure Ariel had ever felt.
Ariel and Layla merged in a synchronicity of existence that felt like months, fused in a way no one has ever synchronized inside the Black Zeppelin, feeling everything like if it was the first time, Ariel created a unique link with the Biological Conjunction System controlling the Vessel. The way the Zeppelin worked was that everyone who entered would synchronize their Biological Signature with the ship allowing them to take control of their senses, when Layla traveled alone she was in charge of everything, meaning all her senses were connected to the ship, but in case more individuals would synchronize, each one is assigned a portion of the ship systems connected through the internal sensorial system.
But because Ariel was fully open to new experiences Layla override the protocol creating a total amalgamation sharing both existences. When they were getting into the peak of the fusion, thanks to Layla's enhanced inner sight due to the synchronicity, she heard something blurry coming outside of the induced reality; from the edges of the Universe a sharpening figure revealed itself as an incredibly pure human form born in the Cosmos with no limit within the vastness of existence, it was the first time Layla felt something like that when merging with anybody, it motivates her to stay connected feeling afterwards the most awkward and strange sensation in her entire life, she perceived Ariel as if she was an outside entity with a vast and pure body coming from the original reality where Layla existed, realizing this distracted Layla's attention provoking an abrupt disconnection from the ship shutting down the systems releasing both of them to the outside of the ship.
Layla opened her eyes trying to understand what just had happened, her sight was blurry and her hearing still wasn't that good, she noticed Ariel reaching to help her, she took her hand and incorporated herself moving his head recovering her full senses. It passed some minutes before Ariel's voice started sounding more clearly.
- Layla, Layla –Ariel talk to her with a soothing voice -, are you ok? It seems the ship just expelled us for no reason.
- Yes, I'm ok, it's just some dizziness but I'm fine, thanks.
- So, what happened exactly, I mean, I kind of understand what happened with us while we were connected – Ariel blushed a little -, but then suddenly we just "popped out".
- I really don't know what happened, it has never done that before – Layla was telling the truth but she was more concerned about what she experienced when feeling Ariel's presence as a pure body.
Both space companions sat down for a moment and grab something to drink at the lunch table which Gunther installed outside the garage. They watch him go all around the Lunar Equation installing and modifying things.
- Does it look different to you? – Ariel asked Layla bending a little bit her head.
- A little bit, well, Gunther had a couple of weeks to do stuff on your ship.
- Weeks? What do you mean by weeks? We've just stayed away for a couple of hours. - Ariel responded quite incredulous.
- Time works differently inside the ship- Layla winked at her
With a big -Ohhh yeah- Ariel relaxed and offered to make something dinner for the three, Layla pointed out the fridge where Ariel found a lot of "interesting ingredients", none of them looked anything familiar so she accessed some info from the SentiCube in search of some Alienish culinary recipes.
