-4 years old-

"Where are we going?" A little (h/c) haired girl asked. She was walking in between both of her parents, all holding hands. The walked toward the hospital entrance.

"We're going to check to see if your health! Don't worry about it. Well all have to do this every now and then." Her mother said with a smile on her face. Little did the girl know was that her mom's smile hid her worry for her child. She was scared for the health of her child.

"Is that true papa?" The little asked her father, turning to him.

"Your mother is always right." He stated smiling down at his daughter. He too hid his fear, not wanting to scare his daughter. The checked in at the front desk and waited for when they are called. Both parents hoping the test results of their daughter's illness were negative.

"(y/n) Aizawa. We will now see you."

The little girl walked to the doctor as the parents watched her go behind the doors. Both parents hold hands and look at the door patiently waiting for their daughter.

-After the Exam-

"Mom! Dad! I'm done!" A smiling little girl said rushing to her parents. The embraced her and looked at the doctor.

"I will call you when the results come it. Otherwise she looks just fine. Have a nice day Mr. and Mrs. Aizawa."

And with that the doctor left. The parents with their daughter in between them walked out. Holding hands just like they did when they entered.

-The Call Arrives-

"Ma'am... I'm sorry... your daughter's illness still remains. Unfortunately, it's a rare illness that has only popped up twice. We still do not have a cure for it, but are at work trying to create one. Again we are so very sorry. At most, she will live until she's 16 years of age. Maybe a little longer. That's all I have to say... Goodbye..."

*beep*

The doctor hung up. A mother sits there phone still at her ear. Tears fall from her eyes. She weeps silently and waits for her husband to come home. Her daughter currently in the other room doing a bit school work. She hears the soft humming of her child that soon turns to singing. It then stops. The mother wipes away her tears and puts her phone down. The little girl walks in.

"Mom. I finished my work! Mom? Are you okay?"

The mother turned to her daughter and nodded. The little girl runs into her mother's arms and crawls into her lap.

"Mom! Can I sing for you? Can I can I please!"

The mother laughed and nodded. The little girl smiled and began to sing.

(you sing the song in the video. I just really love this song XD)

While you sing, your mom stokes your hair and rocks you gently back and forth. Both of you have a smile on your faces and have your eyes closed. Right then your dad walks in. He stands in the doorway and smiles a calm smile. A small circle of light forms around your hands that are held together above your chest. A red heart fades in and small wings of light appear as well. Your hair starts to flow and the music increases with your voice. As the song ends the light fades and disappears. Your hair drops back to it's regular state and you open your eyes.

"She has your quirk. I think we just found ourselves the next Red Melody."

Your father laughs slightly at his words and walks in. You get off your mom's lap and hug him.

"Dad! Did you hear me!? I sang for mommy!" the four year old cheered.

"Honey, can you go to your room? I need to speak with daddy alone. Okay?"

"Yes mom!" And with that you ran upstairs. Soon after you left, your dad closed the door.

"What is it?" He asked with concern.

The mother looked down and held her arms.

"The call came... It was positive... and she... she..."

The mother breaks down in tears. Shota holds his wife in his arms letting her cry into his chest. He started stroking her hair.

"She will live until she's 16... there is no cure for her yet..." the mother sobbed. Little did they know their daughter was on the other side of the door. She had heard everything. Slowly she walked into her room and thought about what her mother just said...

- 8 years old-

The TV at school is playing a LIVE fight between hero and villain. All children are watching in awe as the fight continues. It was currently lunch, but the children insisted the teacher let them watch since they couldn't leave school. One of the students in that class was (y/n). The hero fighting was Red Melody, her mother. She always admired her mother and father. Especially when they fought villains. The channel went to break really quick. All kids talked among themselves at what had happened so far until the commercial was interrupted. They all look back at the screen.

"BREAKING NEWS! SONG HERO: RED MELODY HAS JUST BEEN TAKEN OUT BY A VILLAIN! SHE IS CURRENTLY BEING TREATED AND RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL! OH? WHAT'S THIS? FREE LANCING HERO: ERASER HEAD HAS COME TO THE SCENE! HE HAS TAKEN DOWN THE VILLAIN!"

Tears fell down the (h/c) haired girl's (e/c) eyes.

"Mom..."

-After School-

Both Shota and (y/n) rushed to the hospital. Shota held hands with the crying 8 year old as they ran inside. They soon found out where the girl's mother resided and ran into the room. She lay in a hospital bed with many machines hooked up to her. A mask over her mouth and nose that was helping her breathe. She turned her head to see her daughter and husband in the doorway. The little girl ran up to her mom and held her hand. The mother smiled weakly and looked at both of her loved ones.

"(y/n)... sweetie... it's going to...be okay... If I don't... make it... I want you to become... a hero for me... okay? No matter... what illness you may... have it... will never make you... any less than... everyone else..."

"Mom..."

"Shota... Please... take care of her... she... is our pride and joy... right? ha.. ha.. haaa...." And with those words the heart monitor played one of the worst sounds anyone could hear.

"mom? Mom! MOM! MOOOOOM!"

The father had to pry the little girl off the bed as the doctors walked in. He just lost the one person he treasured the most besides his daughter.

- 15 Nearing 16 -

(y/n)'s state had slowly started to weaken over the years. She was heading to the brink of death. Now hooked up to a personal IV, walking devices (occasionally), and on-off time with an oxygen machine, she had been attending UA (yuuei) high secretly helping her father with his paperwork in the teacher's lounge. She was a calm individual that didn't speak much. Every one of the staff members knew she was there and would help out from time to time. Today was different though. Since she is nearing her death her father started to teach her stuff from his hero course. And now she was walking with him to his class to help out. Since she always wanted to be a hero, this was the best she could do. With her father's assistance the made it to the large door labeled '1-A'.
