"Ok, we've got automatic snipers and motion detectors and cameras up. We need to get to a vehicle and get the hell out of here." Cooper surveyed their work with a critical glance.
Jason nodded tersely. "The garage is over there," he gestured to the northwest corner of the house. "My car is a Jeep, customized with bulletproof interiors. Go."
They took off running, slightly encumbered by their weapons. A burst of gunfire sounded from outside, and Katrina heard steel shatter. Jason was already in the car. Cooper latched onto her arm, dragging her into the garage. A SWAT trooper kicked in the door. A snap of gunfire rang out, and Katrina felt only the slightest bit of pain before the world faded into a thick, black curtain and she knew no more.
