I woke up to Tyler jumping on the end of my bed. "What's up, bud?" I squinted, waiting for my eyes to adjust to the bright light.

"Dad came home last night! He just finished making breakfast for us! There's bacon! That's your favorite still, isn't it?" He was eight and absolutely adorable. He usually wasn't any trouble and looked up to me.

"Yes, it's still my favorite. I'll be down in a few minutes, okay?" He nodded and left my room. I checked my phone to see if anyone had texted. Sure enough, Addison had sent me something late last night. Bucky is delivering uniforms today. He wants us to wear them on Monday, so everyone knows who is 'in'. You're gonna wanna see it right away, so stay home today. I got mine already, and I know you're going to love what it looks like! I put my phone down and ran my fingers through my hair, attempting to untangle some of the knots. When I was satisfied with the 'I woke up like this' look, I bounded downstairs towards the smell of maple syrup. I sat in my usual spot and my mom, brought my plate over. I had two blueberry pancakes, four strips of bacon, and some scrambled eggs. A thin layer of butter was already spread over the top pancake with a layer of strawberry jam on top of that as well. I had always chosen to eat my pancakes like this as a kid, so my mom just did it for me now. It let me sleep in for a few extra minutes.

My parents talked throughout breakfast, while Tyler stuffed his face with food. I listened in on my parents' conversation but didn't say anything. Eventually, I got bored and tuned them out. I set my dishes in the sink and hugged Tyler before going back upstairs. I did my makeup, making sure to cover up the back of my neck, and then cracked down on my homework, so I could have all or at least most of Sunday free. Everything was fairly easy, but the AP classes gave out so much work. It took forever to go through the textbooks and take notes and then answer the practice and reflection questions.

Right after lunch, the doorbell rang. I glanced out the window and saw Bucky's car parked on our driveway. I sprinted down the stairs and swung the door open. Tyler came as well, curious about who it was. "Nice job at tryouts. I was impressed. Wear your uniform on Monday. Practices are every day after school for two hours. The Acey's and I will pick you up tonight for initiation."

I took the package from his hands and grinned. "Thank you. See you then, Captain Bucky." He gave a curt nod and left. Ugh, I didn't even want to know what the initiation process was going to be. It was going to be something really stupid like a prank.

"Ooh, ooh. You have to try it on now, and then you need to show it to Mom and Dad when they get home!"

"That's what I was planning on doing. I'll put it on in my walk-in closet. You can wait on my bed, but don't touch my notebooks or binders. I need those to stay organized.

The uniform was the perfect fit. The shorts were white, the skirt and top were pink, and they both had green accents. I absolutely loved it. As I was twirling in front of the mirror, the doorbell rang again. "I can get it, Y/N!" Tyler's thundering footsteps became fainter. I gave myself a final look and sent a mirror selfie to Addison, which she replied to immediately. You look great. Zed's jaw will drop on Monday.

Actually, the doorbell just rang and Tyler went to see who it is. I'm pretty sure it's Zed.

"Y/N! Hurry up!" I opened the door and stepped into my room. Sure enough, both Tyler and Zed were sitting on my bed. Zed's jaw did actually drop, and Tyler gave me two thumbs up. He left immediately after, but wiggled his eyebrows at me before shutting the door.

"You look beautiful in that. Not that you don't always look beautiful. That's not what I was implying. You're always beautiful." I knew what he meant the first time, but let him finish the little ramble.
