chapter 26: a total sweetheart

Gerard's P.O.V

I hear my phone go off so I woke up with a headache, I don't remember what happened last night. I sort of remember but I'm not sure if it was a dream or not. I checked the caller ID and saw that it was Frank.

*on phone*

Gerard:"hello?"

Frank:"hey Geebear."

Gerard:"hey Frank, what's up?"

Frank:"well I'm at Starbucks right now so I was wondering I'd v you wanna hang out for a bit."

Gerard:"ok cool yea, I'll be there soon."

Frank:"cool, later."

Gerard:"later."

*hangs up*

I sighed and remembered what lynz said from last night.

lynz:"he's planning on killing her tonight...pixie to pixie."

I looked to my right and see Em sleeping peacefully, I sighed with relief that she was still here and kissed her forehead then did my morning routine.

when I was ready I grabbed my keys and was after to head out until Em slightly woke up.

Emelia:"where are you going?"

she says with her eyes still closed.

Gerard:"I'm meeting Frank at Starbucks, do you want anything?"

Emelia:"no thanx."

Gerard:"ok, I'll be back soon."

Emelia:"ok take care."

Gerard:"you too babe."

and with that I opened the door and started heading out and began to drive to Starbucks. Starbucks was my favorite place, I love coffee but now that I'm a vampire, I can't drink it anymore so I wonder why Frank is there.

I arrived to the delicious coffee shop and saw Frank sitting on the table messing with his iPhone, he saw me walk in and a big smile appeared on his face as he waved at me. I smiled and went up to him then we did our little bro handshake and sat down.

Frank:"so G, how does life treat you this fine morning?"

Gerard:"I'm not so sure actually, I can't even remember what happened last night, I woke up with a headac-"

Frank:"what's wrong?"

Gerard:"I woke up...was I sleeping?"

Frank:"...apparently."

Gerard:"wha, how? I thought vampires didn't sleep."

Frank:"ha um well...last night you came home...drunk...I don't even know that's possible for a vampire but you were...Cece had the human potion on the table and you thought it was a special wine and drank it."

Gerard:"....so...I'm not a vampire no more?"

Frank:"well technically you are. although you do have body heat, and blood inside you. your new diet is human food and blood. um...and you stopped growing so you'll stay like that forever and you still have vampire speed and strength. which I'm totally jealous of you for that."

he says as I began to laugh. this is awesome. it's like i have my life back with a part of my new life...I hope that makes sense...

Frank:"Oh almost forgot, you can also still read minds."

Gerard:"wow. this is awesome...so did that mean I can order my coffee?"

Frank:"yep."

Gerard:"awesome."

Frank:"so do you remember why you got drunk last night?"

Gerard:"no I don't...but I do remember seeing lynz..."

Frank:"lynz?? she's here??"

Gerard:"yea....long story."

Frank:"Oh well...good to know."

after a few more hours talking and drinking coffee I decided to go Home, we said our goodbyes and went our seperate ways. as I was driving I stopped at the red light and see a new flower shop, it had nice flowers so when the light turned green I decided to check it out. I walked in as a lady with ginger hair greeted me.

lady:"hello welcome to flower girls, would you like some help looking for flowers for a special someone?"

Gerard:"um yea sure."

lady:"ok who are the flowers for?"

Gerard:"my wife."

lady:"aww how adorable, anyways we have a whole section over there. follow me."

I obeyed her orders and we stopped in front of some flowers.

lady:"so you could get her these, in my opinion girls lovee these types and they also smell pretty good too if you ask me ha. or you could get her these."

she says as she handed me some roses and some purple and blue flowers with yellow in the middle.

Gerard:"um...im not sure..can I get both?"

lady:"yea of course, will that be all for today?"

Gerard:"yea I think so."

lady:"ok, oh and we also just got boxes of chocolates, would you like one as well?"

Gerard:"sure why not."

lady:"ok, your total will be $24.99"

I handed her the money and then walked out with my items. there want any special occasion but I like being a total sweetheart if you haven't noticed ha.

I finally arrived home, I parked the car and got my keys ready to open the door then I grabbed the items. I walked up to the fire and opened it.

Gerard:"honey I'm home!"

Emelia:"ok I'll be down in a second!"

I walked to the kitchen and put the flowers on the table until I hear kids laughing and running. pretty soon a little girl with pig tails came running down the stairs laughing followed by a little boy with black Hair as well. they Continued laughing until they saw me and stored laughing. ok who are these kids? I began having thoughts in my mind until I see Em come down the stairs. I can tell she just got out of the shower from her wet hair.

Emelia:"hey G."

she says as she walks over to me and plants a kiss on my lips as I did the same.

Emelia:"Oh my gosh you got flowers!! there so beautiful!!"

Gerard:"yea, I also got you chocolates."

Emelia:"aww thank you!"

she says as she hugs me tightly, I hugged her back but my eyes didn't leave the kids who were just standing there looking shocked and scared.

Gerard:"um honey, who are they?"

Emelia:"Oh this is flora and angel. I'm babysitting them for daisy."

Gerard:"Oh. well ok then."

Emelia:"kids it's ok, this is Gerard, you can trust him too."

she says as flora smiles and walks up to me slowly. pretty soon she was 3 steps away from me, I smiled at her and she smiled back then hugged me as I hugged her back. I looked at Em and she was smiling as well as she stood next to angel who was smiling as well. today's a good day.
