When I woke up the next morning I didn't quite realize where I was. The world around me was all white. Then there was a silver monster. I puffed up and prepared to fight. Then I heard footsteps approaching and then the door knob turn. I jumped out of the bathtub and the events of the past day came back to me as the two little girls came into the room. The little girls sat down on the floor close to me and I came over to sniff their fingers. Then they called out to someone,
"Hi there little Dinah. How are you today?"
Again I wondered, "Who are they talking to? I don't see anyone else."
But that was cut short because then they started petting me. I started to roll so that they would pet me more. They laughed and then the smaller one pulled out a red string. My attention instantly went to the string. I leaped into the air and they continued playing with me until I got tired. Then when I was done with them I went back into the bathtub to take a nap. When it was the afternoon, the lady came in and picked me up very carefully. Then she put me down on a new floor. I then started exploring. It was very hard to walk on this floor because I couldn't get any traction on the wood. I put out my claws and that seemed to help a little. I continued to explore until I had explored every inch of the cage. I still couldn't believe how big their cage was.
******************************************************************************************************** By the third day I was starting to think that I wasn't going to go back to my cage. It seemed like this was my new cage. And the more that I thought about it the more I was hoping that it was. By now I had also learned the names of the people in the cage. The small squeaky one was named Sasha. The older girl was named Catia. The lady was named Carmella, and Mama. And the Man was named Bill, and Daddy. I knew their names now but I still couldn't figure out who they were talking to when they said the name, Dinah. I was happy though when they praised me for bringing back a toy fish when they threw it. I don't know why they wanted me to do it, but it didn't matter because I enjoyed it.
