I could smell whiskey on his breath. He grabbed my arms and shook me. D"You are a whore just like your mother!" He slammed me on the ground and started punching me. He kicked me in my ribs and said "this is what happens to whores. You cant leave this house until I say you can!" I was pissed. I had enough. I grabbed a suitcase out of my closet and started throwing things in. I was going to LA with Jared. I snuck out my window and I could hardly walk. I got to the motel and knocked on his door. He answered and he saw that I had a bloody nose and black eye. J"Your dad did this to you?!" He was shocked. He held me in his arms and started a bath for me. I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My ribs were bruised and I looked awful. I was so embarrassed Jared had to see me like this. I took a bath and when I walked out Jared was sitting there playing guitar. He stopped when he saw me and said "Im sorry that happened to you. We are leaving in the morning. We will just drive back to LA. We can make it a road trip. You need to have some fun." Me "Okay that sounds good. Are you sure you want me to go with you?" J"Of course I am." There were two beds in the room and he helped me get in bed because I was so sore. J"Good night. Sweet dreams." Me "Good night, Jared. Thank you." J"anytime" The next morning we were on the road. I was so excited. I had never even left Georgia before. We drove all day and that night checked into a hotel. The next day we had so much fun. Jared was so funny and sweet. I felt bad for being so rude to him when I first met him. Me"Im sorry I acted like a total bitch when I first met you. I really feel bad about that." J"Hey dont even worry about that. I was a dick.Calling you a virgin and everything. Im sure you arent even a virgin." I just looked at him. J"are you?" I nodded and was embarrassed. J"Wow thats rare to find. Trust me it is a good thing. You are still innocent. You are such a sweet girl that makes me respect you even more." I was relieved he didnt make fun of me or laugh. After another day of driving we made it to LA. The roadtrip was so fun. We took a lot of pictures and he was making me open up. I felt like a new person. I was excited to be in LA but it was such a culture shock already.
