"Ana, babe wake up." Liam whispered in my ear.
"Why? I don't wanna." I said, before turning around.
Before I knew it, he picked me up and off our bed.
"Liam!Put me down!" I said to him.
"I'm taking you downstairs to get breakfast before the sonogram today." he said, while going downstairs.
"Wait. It's today? Today we find out the genders?" I asked, as he put me down.
"Yeah Ana." he smiled.
I jumped into his arms and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back in response, before kissing my rapidly forming baby bump. Then, he stood up and crashed his lips on mine.
That kiss left me dazed. It was pure, perfection.
"What do you want?" he asked me.
"Just one of the peanut butter granola bars with the chocolate on the bottom. We can get some other stuff after the sonogram." I said.
He handed me the package, and I ripped it open.
"Hurry up love, you gotta head up and get dressed. Don't worry about your makeup, and you can quick fix your hair in the car." he said.
*at the doctors office*
"Mrs. Ana Payne for Dr. Wilson please follow me back." the nurse said.
I glanced at Liam, and squeezed his hand. He smiled back at me.
"How are you today Ana?" she asked.
"Good. The morning sickness hasn't been that bad this week." I said.
"Well that's good. Are the babies moving around a lot yet?" she asked.
"Definitely." I smiled.
"Okay." she said while leaving, and Dr. Wilson coming in with the sonogram machine.
"Good morning Ana." he said.
"Morning Dr. Wilson." I said back.
"Are you and Liam excited to find out the babies' sexes?" he asked.
"Yes. We couldn't stop thinking about it all week." I said.
"Okay Ana, you know the drill." he said.
I did the usual routine, and waited patiently for him to start.
He finally did, and was that jelly stuff feeling extra freezing cold today!
After a while, he seemed like he was figuring out the babies' sexes.
Well, I think I know what the sexes of the babies from what I see." Dr. Wilson said.
"Well, what is the sex?" Liam asked, while gently holding my hand.
Dr. Wilson turned the screen around for us to see. He was pointing to the babies and said,
"Congrats Ana and Liam, you're having a baby boy and girl."
