a couple of hours later...

Liam's POV

"Shh, Ana. It's okay babe, she's in good hands." I reassured Ana, as I rubbed her back.

The nurse came towards us, looking a bit happy.

"Your baby girl is doing okay. You can go across the hall to see her in the N.I.C.U. We'd watch your other two for you, of course."

"Really? Okay." I said.

The nurse put the babies back in their 'cribs' the hospital provides, and helped Ana get hooked up to the portable monitor.

"Thank you." I mouthed to the nurse, and she smiled,as Ana and I left to see our baby girl.

Ana went slow across the hall, considering she just pushed out three babies less than a few hours ago.

A nurse in the N.I.C.U guided us to our daughter's 'incubator.' She was so small, even smaller than Preston and Alyssa.

"She has a problem with her left kidney. It's not functioning as properly as her left one, and will most likely have a kidney transplant before she's ten years old. Do either of you have kidney problems by chance?" the doctor asks.

"Um, yeah. My left kidney didn't work for years, up until a few years ago." I said.

"Well, it seems like your daughter has inherited that. She's fine, but will stay on medications until she is old enough for a transplant." the doctor said.

I couldn't bring myself to say anything. Ana just buried her head in the crook of my neck and sobbed.

I gave our daughter her kidney problems. I- it's all my fault.

I began to softly cry with Ana too.

"Liam, w-why are y-you crying?" Ana sniffled.

"Because, its my fault that our daughter has kidney problems. I'm sorry Ana." I cried.

"No it's n-not Liam. She still loves you regardless." Ana said, and gestured to our fragile little daughter.

I put my hand in the incubator, and and she grabbed and held onto my finger. I teared up even more. She loves me, even though she has kidney problems because of me.

"Ana take a picture, my phone is in my pocket." I whisper, as Ana grabs my phone, and snaps a quick picture.

After spending nearly an hour with our daughter, we say our goodbyes, and head back to the room.

Once we reach it, the nurse and I Ana back into bed. She hands us our babies, and asks us,

"Have you picked out names for your triplets?"

"Yes." Ana smiles, and looks over to me, before I say their names proudly.

"Alyssa Kylee Payne for the first baby, Preston Kolten Payne for our second baby, and Brooklyn Faith Payne for our third baby." We decided on our other daughter's name while visiting her in the N.I.C.U.

"Those are lovely names." she smiles.

We fill out their birth certificates together,

Alyssa Kylee Payne

These babies our really ours. Ana and I have our own little family, and it will be complete in a few months when we get married.

"Ana?" I ask.

"Thank you babe. Thank you for being the greatest person alive. Today, you've given me three beautiful babies, and I have been loving every second of it. I want you to know how proud I am of you. You did some really hard work when you gave birth, and I'm extremely proud of you." I beamed at Ana, who had small tears prickling her eyes.

I leaned in and kissed her passionately. I didn't care if two out of three of our babies were seeing this.

In a few months, we will be an official family. It'll be me, Ana, Alyssa, Preston, and Brooklyn, and we couldn't be any happier.
