Percy Joins Kronos

I've wanted to do one of these for forever!! But I finally got an inspiration for actually doing it from AjSummer 's story, so I am dedicating this story to her. Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy!

I walked down the beach, thinking about...stuff, when suddenly, I was enveloped in a blinding light and found myself in the newly redesigned throne room.

I blinked a few times, so my eyes can get adjusted to the light, and found all the gods pointing their weapons at me. To say I was slightly confused would be an understatement.

What confused me even more is when I saw pure rage behind Zeus's eyes, and disappointment and sadness behind Poseidon's.

I was impressed. All the gods had an amazing poker face. "Why would you do this to us?!" thundered Zeus. "Do...what?" I asked, even more confused than I was. "Don't act innocent!!! We know you've betrayed us!!!!"

Okay, now I've gotten as confused as I possibly could. "Why would I betray you?" "I don't know. You tell us!" Ares said, sarcastically. At that I got angry.

"Look, I don't know what you're talking about, but I would never betray you. My fatal flaw is loyalty, remember?"

"Oh yes, we remember. We just don't know where your loyalties lie." Zeus spat.

I just sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose, frustrated. I finally got a good look around. All my friends were there, including my wonderful girlfriend, Annabeth. They were avoiding eye contact, and with a shock I realized Annabeth was crying.

Anger bubbled inside of me. "Would someone PLEASE explain what's going on?!" I said through gritted teeth.

Zeus shook with anger. "What's going on?! What's going on?!?!! We trusted you! And the moment we aren't looking, you go behind our backs and betray us!!!!!! The moment we start trusting you, you go and help Kronos rise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

At that accusation I didn't feel angrier, like I should've. Instead, I just felt weak and defeated. They know, I thought regretfully. They know i've been working with Kronos.
