A break from each other

Kion nods at his fathers words.
"Ok dad." He says quietly. "I'm going to go for a walk."
Simba nods and Kion leaves the den. He walks for a while until he couldn't see anyone.
Kion starts to sing.
Kion:

Somewhere in the Pridelands Fuli is also singing.

With Fuli
After singing Fuli continues to walk around the Pridelands. Every now and then. She glances up at the sky. Sometimes Fuli catches a glimps of Ono flying.
"Typical Ono." Scoffs Fuli.
She breaks into a run to get away from him and runs to Hakuna Mutata Falls.

"Fuli? What are you doing here?" Asks Timmon.
"I just need a break from things." Replies Fuli sadly.
Timmon and Pumba look at each other but turn back to face her.
"Well, as we like to say 'Hakuna Mutata!'" Smiles Pumba.
"Stay as long as you need. Mi Casta Es tu Casta." Says Timmon happily.
"Is that even how you say it?" Asks Fuli.
All eyes are on Timmon.
"I have no idea." He says.
Fuli turns to leave. "Asente."
"Hakuna Mutata. Let us know if you need anything." Says Pumba.
Fuli eventually finds a place to rest for the night near the falls. She lies down and lowers her head onto her paws. Just as she closes her eyes...
"ZUKA ZAMA!"
"Wha...Bunga?"
"Hey Fuli, why didn't you come back?" Asks Bunga taking a seat next to her.
"I already told you, I need a break." Replies Fuli.
"You know Kion misses you, right?" Says Bunga for once actually taking things seriously. "You miss him too."
Fuli nods. "I know that the cliff was an accident and I shouldn't have gotten mad but he didn't have to toss my plan aside."
"Promise me you'll talk to him." Says Bunga.
Fuli smiles weakly "I promise."
The two friends watch the sun set over the horizon in silence.
"Mind if I stay here with you? Your fur is so soft." Yawns Bunga.
Fuli rolls her eyes as she watches Bunga get comfy.
"Just this once."
Fuli lowers her head and closes her eyes. "Night Bunga."
"Night Fuli."

With Kion
Kion meets up with Ono and Beshte at the Lion Guard lair.
"Any sign of Fuli? And where's Bunga?" Asks Kion.
Beshte shakes his head. "We don't know where Fuli is and Little B is with his uncles."
"I did try to follow Fuli but she must've seen me because she ran away and I couldn't keep up." Says Ono.
Kion lowers his head a little. "I did try to find Fuli at her den but she wasn't there. I wanted to apologise to her. I hope Fuli can forgive me."
"Let's go on patrol." Suggests Beshte.
Kion nods and leads the guard around the Pridelands.

Kion's dream.
"Kion!" Screams Fuli.
Kion runs to the voice. "Fuli where are you?!"
Fuli's cries for help again but this time from the opposite direction.
"Kion! Help!"
Kion continues to run in the darkness while following Fuli's voice. Kion realises that he's running in circles.
"Kion!"
"Kion!"
"Kion!"
The voices were everywhere. Kion sinks to the ground to cover his ears.
"Kion!" Shouts Fuli as the echo fades away.
Kion looks up and only hears silence.
"Fuli?" He asks.
A dark shadow slowly walks to Kion. It is definitely not Fuli. The figure looks like it's made of shadow except for his eyes that gleamed like fire being powered by hate.
"We will meet again Kion...very soon."
