moonlight ignited
atop the city buildings
as she began trembling her words
an eerie flight drifts in
the chaos outside her apartment
was ascending
the children were swarming
in groups of five
harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables
to take home
to their parents
while the other children
sit and cried.
