The Curtis's Unknown sister continued

I thank the lady on the other line and hang up.

I go and set down on the couch and think about Blossom. How does she know about Steve Jr?

I lay there for what feels like hours. When I hear Steve come back in the room.

He sets down next to me and wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"You ok Birdy?" He asks.

I lean my head on his chest and listen to his heart. "I don't know Steve. What do you think about Blossom and all of this" I ask

"I grew up in a very religious family. Maybe she has a gift from god. Maybe god couldn't separate them so he made a way for the both of them to talk" he says

"I look up at him but he is looking at the wall. The room is dark but I can clearly see his bright eyes.

"Steve. The doctors called. I'm pregnant" I say.

He looks down at me and smiles."have you told the boys yet?" He asks

"No. I just got off the phone." I tell him.

"We should have a dinner tonight. To tell the news." He says

I gasp at the idea. "We should!" I get up and go to the kitchen.

"Steve. Why don't you call over and tell them dinner is here tonight" I call to him

"Ok. I won't say anything about why though" he says.

I pull out a pan and start to make the sauce for my creamy chicken dish" it's one of ponyboy and Johnnys favorites

I can hear him talking on the phone with some one.

About half an hour later when the table is set and the food is out I hear a knock on the door.

When I open it I see everyone there. Even Lisa who looks pale but walking on her own, well sorta. She has her arm wrapped firmly around sodas who has Pepsi in his other hand

Tina waddles into the house and sets down on the soft couch with a sigh. Darry follows her and helps her. It's cute watching them together darry had his hand on he small of her back rubbing small circles.

Johnny and ponyboy walk in hand in hand both smiling and laughing about something

"Hay. Where is dal and Twobit" I ask

"Both have a date tonight. It's a double date at this nice restaurant on the soc side. They have been planning it for a while and both couldn't get out of it tonight" Soda says as he struggles to open a piece of candy.

"Ok. Well dinner is done. I'm going to go get Blossom and Steven up" I walk out of the room and down the hall to the baby's room

Blossom is setting up in her bed looking at the wall.

I stand in the door way and watch.

"I'm sorry. I told mommy about you..... really... ok." She giggles a few times. "I wish you were still alive. I like having you as a brother and a friend" she says sadly.

I step in the room and her head shoots up.

"Who are you talking to hon" I ask her.

"Steve Jr. He said that it's ok for you to know about him." She looks at the wall again.

I set down on the edge of the bed beside her. "What is he saying" I ask her.

"He is telling me about the angels. He said that there is one with pretty reddish blonde hair that knows our family." She says

"What's her name?" I ask.

"Angels don't have names. Everyone knows everyone and they don't use names. But her name when she was alive is Sally Curtis."

"Curtis? Maybe she is family" I say to her. "Come on let's go eat some dinner" I tell her. I stop by Steven's room and grab him too.

When we get down stairs I go into the kitchen Pony and Johnny are in there messing around with the jello.

"Hi you two" I say playfully.

"Sup girly" johnny says

"Can you take those side dishes to the dinning room. please" I say

They go off with the plates and I start to ice the cake I set out earlier to cool

"AHHHH!!!" I hear a blood curtling scream. That was Blossom!

I drop the icing knife and run to her scream.

She is in the the living room on the floor holding her knees to her chest as she is sobbing.

I run to her and wrap my arms around her.

"What the hell happened!?" I ask looking around at everyone who is looking at her with a look of shock.

"I don't know. Pony and I walked in the room and she started screaming" johnny says.

I look down at her and see that she had tears flowing down her face.

"Blossom. Honey what happened" I ask in a calm voice.

"Sally showed me what was going to happen. She said that pony was going to get hurt. She told me" she started crying again.

"What the hell is she talking about?" Darry asks.

"Come on honey. I'll take you back to bed." I tell her.

I pick her up in my arms and carry her to her room. I place her in her bed and tuck her in

"Mommy. Don't let him go in the snow" she says.

When I'm back in the living room I see everyone is a bit shaken up.

"What was all that about" pony asks.

I let out a defeated sigh and sink down into a large soft chair. "I don't know. Today she told me that she was talking to her brother"

"But that's normal. I mean she is getting along with the baby fine" Tina says as she rubs small circles on her own stomach.

"Not that brother. Steve Jr. The one I miscarried she said that they talk all the time. I walked in on her talking earlier she drew a picture of all of us. Steven, Steve, me, her, and Steve Jr." I say as I rub my head.

Steve gets up and walks over to my chair. He stands behind me and rubs my shoulder.

No one says anything. They all just look at me.

Johnny is the only one to talk "she said something about someone named Sally?"

"That's the angel. She said in heaven angels don't have names. Everyone knows everyone. But she said that when this Angel was alive her name was Sally Curtis" I say. I hear most of the boys gasp.

"Do y'all know her?"

"Well I think we should. Seeming that she is our mom" Soda says
