Elsa
I run up the steep hills that lead to he Northern Mountain. Where my castle is. I reach the last steep slope and my castle is in sight. The cold, icy wind blows in my face as I climb the familiar steps of the castle.
I begin to hum a very familiar song that most people would know by the tune. Then, a certain part hits me like a ton of bricks.
A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the queen.
The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside.
I couldn't keep it in. Heaven knows I tried...
I run to the top of the castle and curl up in a corner. I start sobbing because that song is right. I am isolated. I can't hold my anger. My powers in, no matter how hard I try. As soon as these thoughts travel through my mind, the sobs rack my entire body.
Eventually, I get up shaking. I pull my glove off, and get ready to do something crazy. I start to do it, but then, I hear something. Footsteps. I might as well take my anger out on a trespasser, so I walk towards the sound. I pull my arms up. My breathing grows heavier by the minute. I jump out. Holding my arms out and my eyes watering.
"Freeze!" I say. Wow, really, Elsa? I blink away the tears to find Jack right in front of me, staring with concern and surprise. Immediately, I put my arms down and throw my arms around him. I bury my face into his blue sweatshirt. I sob into it. He just stays there, holding me.
Still holding onto me, Jack leads me outside the castle and sits down in the snow. He pulls me down with him. We sit in silence except for my quiet sobs.
"Did I cause anything?" I ask after a few minutes, still wiping tears away.
"What would you cause?" He says.
"Last time someone took my glove off, I made some people think I was trying to kill them. So, I ran away. I didn't know that I had caused an eternal winter in the middle of summer. I lived up here for a few days, isolated from everyone else. That's when Anna came. She came to get me and I nearly killed her. Eventually, it was fixed, but I just was making sure it didn't happen again."
"Arendelle's fine, Elsa. You don't have to worry about it."
"Good. I was just making sure."
Silence. "Can I ask you something?"
"What is there to ask?"
"Well, I was wondering if you just wanted to go to a shop to get everything else we need for the wedding."
"Umm... Sure I guess."
"Also, I was wondering. Even though I had already asked the big question, I wanted to ask a medium sized question." I stare attentively. "Do you... Will you be my snowflake and fall for me?"
I smile in the midst of sadness. "Only if you'll be my guardian and catch me," I say.
He pulls me up from the snowy ground and picks me up and spins me around. I near his face until I feel the warmth of his lips on mine. He kisses back. Once we let go, he pulls me up onto his shoulder and carries me to Arendelle.
I guess I'm not so isolated after all.
