Elsa
I wake up in a room. It seems to be in the castle. It's my room. I walk over to a mirror and find my face. It's still there. Good. It's not one of those dreams. However, even though I know it's not a weird dream, my face says that I'm six. Anna's bed isn't in here, so it's after my parents moved me. I move my hand out. Snowflakes shoot up from my hand. It's not the fierce, solid, ice magic I have now. This is in my past. Then I look over at my window. Frost has formed over the glass I touch the other corner of the window. It's not cold. Why would frost form somewhere it's not cold? Then, lines form on the frost. How is this happening? The lines cross and form a rabbit. It hops over to the other side of the window. I should feel wonder, but in its place is fear. I yelp and run to my covers. I pull them over my head as I hear the window opening. I then hear footsteps. A hand touches my head.
"Hey," it says. It's a boy. "I'm Jack. I didn't mean to scare you with the rabbit."
I poke my head out with a single tear falling down my face. I observe Jack's face. He isn't that bad looking at all. He has shaggy, white hair and deep blue eyes. He set a staff on the side of my bed, and with his hand free, he put the other in his pocket of his blue sweatshirt. I let out a chuckle. "I know you didn't," I say as I pull my hand to a vertical position as if I'm about to shake hands. "I'm Elsa."
He takes my hand, flips it horizontally, and kisses the top of it softly. "Hello, Princess Elsa."
My eyes widen. "How did you know?"
"Well, you live in a castle. Not everyone in Arendelle lives in a castle." He pauses, observing the emptiness of the room. "Don't mind my asking, but why did the rabbit scare you?"
"I don't mind," I reply sheepishly. "But don't laugh at what I'm going to tell you."
Jack starts to smirk. "I won't."
I take a deep breath. Here it goes. "It's because I have ice powers. I thought I was doing it with my mind or something like that. I thought they were getting stronger. I have a sister, Anna, and I hurt her with my powers. She forgot about them and my parents moved me out of her room and into here. They've been getting stronger ever since."
Jack's eyes soften and he looks more sympathetic as I speak. He looks directly into my eyes. "Can I tell you a secret?" He asks more silently than before. I nod. "I have ice powers, too."
"You do?"
"Yes. And I work with some people you may have heard of waaaay far away from here."
My curiosity grows. "Like who?"
"Like Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy."
A smile becomes plastered on to my face. "For real?"
"For real. And I'm someone you may have heard of through expressions. I'm Jack Frost."
My cheeks start hurting, but I can't stop grinning. "Can you teach me?" I suddenly blurt out. I cover my mouth afterwards.
"What?" He says.
I slow down my speaking. "I said 'can you teach me'. Like to control my powers."
He looks at me with understanding. "Sure, if you really need it."
"Yes!!!!! Thank you so much- can I call you Jack?" Smiling, he nods.mI suddenly hear pounding. Someone is coming. "I'm really sorry, Jack, but I think you should go."
"Why?" He asks.
"Because someone's coming and I don't want someone to see a stranger in my bedroom."
He looks at me with his deep blue eyes. "As you wish, Princess."
"Elsa?" A voice calls outside. He turns and then flees through the window. "Elsa?" It calls again. It is feminine and grown up. Is it the maid? Then, the door opens. "Elsa, who are you talking to?" She says. It's my mother. My mother is in this room. How? I want to jump up and hug her, but I want to act natural.
"Um... No one?" I stutter.
She smiles. "Well, it's getting late, Princess. It's time to sleep now, alright?"
I wrap my arms around her and embrace her.m"Alright. Goodnight, Mother."
"Goodnight, Elsa." She silently shuts the door and goes back outside. I drift off to sleep, remembering everything that happened.

I wake up again, hoping it's the same moment, but I look down and I see that I am my own age again. Damn. Also looking down, I see light blue rope draped around my body tightly. I struggle against this rope that holds me captive. They tighten. The cold wraps around my body as well.
"No use trying to struggle," a voice from the shadow hisses. "In here, struggling is pointless. The harder you pull, you will soon be suffocated by these ropes you made just some time ago." Great. Thanks, universe for giving me cold powers instead of something useful for something other than building and snowmen.
"So," he continues. "The queen of isolation I so hear." I glare at him, I am unwilling to give anything away.
Finally, I speak up. "Show yourself!" I expect rebellion against the comment. Instead, I see him slip out of the shadows.
His appearance is ghostly. He is like a shadow. It seems like he actually IS a shadow. His skin seems dark and unruly. His dark hair is wispy and greased back sloppily. His beady yellow eyes glare at me. They seem unnatural. He slowly grins at my appearance up close, showing his fang-like teeth. "Who are you?" I ask wavering.
"I am your worst nightmare," he replies.
"What do you want with me?"
"Simple. I want something of yours. You'll give it to me and I'll let you go."
"But what do you want with or from me?"
"Curious. I like it, but----"
"Don't say anything witty right now. Not the time. Continue."
Now he stops. For once. Instead, he grabs my hand. His hand turns dark blue. He is draining my powers from me. It hurts like hell on earth; only colder. I am weak when he is done. He strikes me with that power he stole and kills me. It doesn't hurt he hits me. I wake up sweating and breathing heavily. It's just a dream. It was all just a dream. Jack, my powers, my mother, and him teaching me. I sit up and feel the silent tears stream down my face.
