My head was still pounding, but not as severely as before. I clenched my eyes shut, trying to drown out the pain. I slowly opened my eyes, a blinding white light filled my vision. I immediately shut my eyes again.

It's too bright.

My fingers twitched as I attempted to close my right hand into a fist.

I feel so weak...?

"Good morning sunshine. Welcome back."

That voice. I've never heard that voice before.

I clutched the right side of face and sat up. Attempting to block out the bright light.

"Where am I?" I asked aloud.

"In the nurses office, you passed out after the exam ended. Poor girl, I healed you, so just take it easy for a little bit."

I opened both eyes fully and examined the room I was in. I was indeed in the nurses office, laying on a hospital bed, still in my tattered training clothes. I turned to stare at the my elderly savior.

"R-Recovery girl?!" I gawked at the small nurse standing in front of me. I lowered my head immediately in apology.

"AH SORRY! I was so disrespectful! Forgive me!"

Recovery girl only laughed and took a candy dispenser from her back pocket.

"Here take this, get your energy up." She popped a single piece of candy into the palm of my hand and then turned back to her desk to scribble on some paperwork.

"Oh, okay." Popping the candy into my mouth, It fizzed for a bit before it dissolved away entirely.

MMM... Strawberry...

Feeling bold, I swung my legs over the side of the bed and tried to stand up.

"Ah! Ah! Take it slow! You just woke up!" Recovery girl commanded. I stiffened slightly in shock, a nervous expression on my face. Abruptly, I sat down again.

"S-Sorry!"

Having nothing better to do, I took a good minute to really examine my surroundings. I swung my legs mindlessly under the hospital bed, my brain adrift in a distant realm called the dreamworld. Or better yet, I was thinking about what I was gonna eat for dinner tonight. My peaceful food-fantasies ended rather violently as I noticed another figure laying peacefully in another bed to my left.

I gawked at the figure laying there.

"Midoriya?! What happened?" I squeaked. The majority of his limbs were wrapped in a medical cloth.

Recovery girl sighed.

"Poor kid, his body broke when he used his quirk against the zero-pointer."

Zero-Pointer?

I blinked in shock.

"You mean, HE was the one that stopped that giant thing?!" I whispered in disbelief.

"Yes. He did stop it, and you were the one who saved him from hitting the ground." Recovery girl stood up again and went over to check Midoriya's vitals. I sat there in disbelief.

Midoriya is so brave!

"He should be waking up any second now." Recovery girl said as she stirred the boy from his slumber. His jade eyes slowly began to open, only to shut again from the blinding light.

"Ah-Ah, too bright! Wait, where am I?" Midoriya asked out of nowhere. Recovery girl coughed.

"In the nurses office. You passed out after your exams. (Last name) here saved you." Midoriya clenched his eyes shut in protest to the blinding lights of the nurses office. He let out a sleepy hum of response, drifting off to sleep again.
