Today was the day.

The day of the U.A. Sports festival. For the past two weeks I had been training like a mad-man. To be completely honest, I was pretty confident in my skills for the sports festival.

I sat next to Kaminari in the lockerrooms. I was so nervous that I felt like I was gonna be sick.

No. Be strong. You got this.

I cross my arms over my chest and breathed out.

Calm down.

I inhaled and exhaled, focusing on my diaphragm as it expanded and contracted to settle my nerves.

"Midoriya."

I looked up at Todoroki as he neared the said greenette.

"To be frank, i'm stronger than you." The bi-color haired male said, his voice was a monotonous melody. Midorya's breath caught in his throat. He began to fidget with his hands.

"Whaa, ah, yeah." Midoriya stuttered.

My eyebrows furrowed.

What is Todoroki's angle?

"I've noticed that you're close with All Might, and I just want to say that... I will beat you." Todoroki stood still, his expression never changing.

"Oho!! What's happening here?" Kaminari whispered. His elbow nudging my side. I nodded vaguely, a grim expression on my face.

"Not sure." I whispered.

Kirishima stood up to try and intervine before anything got supposedly ugly. I watched from the sidelines as Midoriya gave an emotional speech that even stirred some inspiration within me. I couldn't help but nod along as Midoriya preached.

"... and that is why, I am also going to give it my all!" Midorya said, a serious shadow cast over his face.

My heart skipped a beat at the sight.

I glanced down at my hands as I walked alongside Kirishima and Bakugou down a tunnel.

I can't loose.

I clenched my hands into determined fists, my fingernails digging into my skin.

I have to fight...

I looked over at Kirishima. Kirishima met my gaze and smiled a genuine smile.

"Good luck (Last Name)." He nodded.

I swiftly nodded in return.

"Thank you, you as well."

...With everything i've got.

My eyes darted to Bakugou's red ones. For a second, I caught his gaze. Though as soon as our eyes made contact, I looked away.

The distant cheering from the crowds of people gathered at the stadium was slowly getting louder. I eyed the end of the tunnel, my eyebrows knitted together into a determined expression. As soon as my foot entered the arena, a wave of a newfound energy erupted from within me. I smiled proudly, my hair flowing behind me as I entered the stadium alongside my classmates.

This is for you, dad.

"Ah... so many people." Midoriya shuddered slightly, his hands fidgeting. I gulped, my eyes wondering to the bleachers; jam-packed with cheering fans.
