Rain fell silently from the skies over Star City. It was nearing eleven o'clock at night and the street was quiet. Crouched behind the dumpster in the alleyway near KCBB Jeweler's was a woman, her head covered by a hood and a bandana. She watched the surrounding area, making sure that no one would intercept her before she was able to get inside. One deep breath later, she stood and walked up to the door while pulling out her lock picking kit. Just as she was about to begin picking the lock, a voice stopped her.

"You must be a terrible thief," the voice was condescending.

"Or you didn't think this through," another voice appeared, this one was gravely and deep. She turned around and saw two men, one bald, the other in a large parka. Both had futuristic looking guns in their hands. Another sigh left her chest before she crossed her arms over her chest.

"And why is it you think I have not thought this through?" She questioned the two men.

"Well, if you had thought this through, you would realize that this jeweler has had a lot of burglaries recently and have installed a silent alarm that notifies the police when a lock is picked," the one in the parka responded. The woman narrowed her eyes at the man. Of course they had done that, she had been one of the recent burglars of this jeweler.

"Who's to say I didn't know that? Maybe I silenced that alarm, you don't know," she walked closer to the two men and moved her hands to her hips.

"Let's cut the crap here, you came unprepared. But we can help you," parka man paused and put his gun back in its holster. "For the right price that is."

"And what price would that be?"

"Half of the loot," the bald man blurted, forcing the other two to look at him oddly.

"Deal. Now, how do we get in?" The woman questioned. The man in a parka smiled before he looked up at an open window above the store.

"We climb in through that window and go in that way," he smiled further.

"My god, now it is your turn to be unprepared, or dumb. The apartments above the stores on this street have no access to the stores below them. But I may be able to get us in a way that doesn't require picking the lock," she paused and looked at the two in front of her. They stared at her as if asking her how. She smiled before she turned to face the door and held her hands out. Seconds later, fire slowly erupted the palms of her hands toward the hinges of the door. The woman focused harder making the flames grow larger and hotter. The metal of the hinges began to turn red and orange before it melted to the ground. Once the hinges were off of the door, the door itself began to fold in half from the heat it had been exposed to. The woman turned to face the men then. Their faces were priceless. They stared at the door in awe. The bald man had a smile on his face a mile wide.

"Shall we?" The woman questioned. This seemed to snap the two back to reality.

"Hell yes!" The bald man shook his fists to the sky before practically running into the building.

Once inside, the three of them began scouting the back room. There were shelving units along the walls that contained small black boxes. To the left was a locked room that, upon inspection through the small window on the door, appeared to be the room where the jewelry was made. The bald man was looking through boxes while the parka man was looking around the room. The woman sighed before she noticed a large crate in the corner that had postage pasted on the sides.

"Uh guys, I think it's that crate right there."

"Ah, it's obvious," the bald man wanted to make it seem like he had found it. "I looked over at it before."
