CHAPTER 9

I woke up and looked at My alarm clock. It read: 7:16am. I quickly jumped out of bed remembering that it was Wednesday. I had to be at school at 8am to catch the bus to TAFE. I put a pair of trakies, a shirt, a jumper, a pair of socks and my shoes on. I bolted down the top stair and tripped on the next one. I fell down the rest of the stairs and when I got to the bottom my right arm was killing and I was screaming. Dad sprinted in the room.

"What happened?"

"I fell from the stair below the top one and my arm kills!"

"Oh wow! I'm talking you to the doctors right away. You have very fragile bones."

"Okay."

Dad was right I did he very fragile bones. I had them ever since I was born. We all quickly hopped in the car. Dad sped off to the EMERGENCY department at the hospital. When we got there dad quickly pulled up and took me inside.

"Hi, what has happened here today?" Asked the nurse.

"My daughter has fallen down about 20 stairs and hurt her arm, it is possibly broken."

"We will get an X-ray right away. You wait here sir, we will bring her back soon."

"Okay," said dad in a panicy voice.

The doctor put me in a wheelchair and wheeled me to the x-ray room. They done a few X-rays and found out it was broken in 3 places so I had to have a plaster. The time was about 10:00am. I picked up my phone and had 4 missed calls from Trent. I rang him to tell him what happened.

"Hey bub. I'm sorry, I'm not going to TAFE today."

"Hey beautiful, I've been trying to call you all morning. Why?"

"I broke my arm and I just got out of the hospital."

"Aww I'm gonna come visit you right now cause I'm not at TAFE cause I wasn't going to go without you."

"Okay, you're such a cutie, I love you! See you in a bit."

"Love you too bub. Bye!"

Trent hung up and was ay my hours in a matter of minutes.

"You were quick," I said as he hopped out the car.

"Well I wanted to come seeing my baby girl was alright."

"You're too cute!"

Trent and I walked inside and sat on the lounge together.

Trent hugged me and I hugged him back but I could only use one arm. He didn't mind though. We decided to have a movie day together because mom and dad were both at work. The first movie we watched was Ironman 3. Halfway through it Trent got a call from the X-Factor. They told him auditions were tomorrow, so we jumped up and started packing some clothes. I called mum and told her Trent and I were off to Melbourne for Trents audition and mum was fine with it. So we put our bags and blankets in the car and left.
