CHAPTER 8

I woke up 12:30am to my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I answered

"Hey baby girl. I felt like calling you because I love you."

"Aw that's cute. I love you too."

Trent and I talked for a few hours and at 5:59 he had to hang up. I went back to sleep for half an hour and woke up again. I was up before anyone so I decided to have a shower. After my shower I put on my school dress, a pair of tights, my school jacket and some shoes. I did my hair in a bun and went downstairs to get myself some breakfast and a coffee. It was a normal day all day. Nothing really happened the was interesting however later that afternoon I received an inbox from Trent. It read: 'Hey babe. Can I call you? I urgently need to talk to you. Love you xx

I had a think about what he could want to talk about and then replied with:

'Okay bub. Love you too xx

A minute or two later Trent rang me.

"Babe, I got a call today from the X-Factor saying that I am on the show. I don't even know how? I didn't fill out a sheet."

"Aw congratulations baby. Um yea about that. I did it. You dropped a 'DREAMS' list and I read it and wanted for your dreams to come true so I tried."

"Babe are you serious? You did it? You're such a cutie. I love you."

"I'm serious. I did. I love you too."

"Thankyou babe. Thanks so much. I got to go and do my homework now so talk soon. Love you. Bye."

"Love you too. Bye!"

Trent hung up. I had the hugest smile on my face. I was glad that I made my man happy. I went downstairs and Skye was sitting on the lounge crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked "Jai!" She said "What about him? He's your boyfriend. He's a great bloke."

"No he isn't. He dumped me. For the new chick Samantha Corey."

"Seriously? So you didnt even do anything and he just dumped you?"

"Yes. We were hugging at recess and he said 'I have something to tell you I like another person now and I think we arent doing well together, so its over I'm sorry.' And then he left and started talking to Samantha."

"What an asshole. The next time I see him I'm gonna punch his face in!"

"No don't do that. I understand, he just doesn't love me anymore. Its okay though. I like someone else."

"Skye!"

"What?"

"How could you leave a guy and like a new one all I'm the matter of a few second? Isn't that BAD?"

"It was easy. And no its not bad."

"Okay whatever suits you then.'

"Yep."

"So who do you like now?" "Jason Patzel."

"No, not pretzels!"

"Yes pretzels."

"Oh god." I whispered.

"What was that?"

"Nothing."

I walked to the kitchen to get a coffee. As I opened the draw to get a spoon mum walked in.

"Hey hunni. What you doing?"

"Just getting a coffee ma. Want one?"

"Sure. Thanks darl."

"Anytime ma."

"Do you know whats wrong with Skye?"

"Oh yea, well you know Jai? Ya know Waetford?"

"Oh yea him. What about him?"

"Well ne dumped Skye for the new Samantha Corey chick."

"ASSHOLE!"

"That's what I said."

"I knew he wasn't right for her from the start."

"Same."

I made our coffees, gave mom hers and took mine up to my room. I fell asleep after drinking it.
