CHAPTER 12

Brayden and I chilled in bed for a while watching movies and cuddling.

Then the door opened and Skye came in.

"Can I speak to you alone for a while Meegan?"

"Yeah, okay. Is Jai still here?"

"Yep, why?"

"Brayden, babe, you can go downstairs and talk to Jai if you want!"

"Okay babe, see you in a bit," Brayden said as he kissed me on the forehead.

Skye came and sat down on my bed.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Well I never told you the whole story about Jai and I spliting up, did I?"

"No and I'd really like to know, please."

"So me and Jai were cuddling at Recess that day and Jai said to me I like someone else. He then got a message and walked away. I ran off to the girls toilets bawling my eyes out. I didn't see Jai for the rest of the day. I thought about him heaps though. I saw him hanging out with Samantha Corey and then they hugged. I was so upset, he didn't say he was dating Samantha I just guessed that he was. When I met up with him at the library he showed me the text he got from his mum. It said 'Jai, dad is in hospital. Im pick u up in 10 mins. Bye hunny.' The whole time I thought it was Sam texting him. Samantha rocked up at the library about 5 minutes after me and Jai. Samantha ran up to Jai and hugged him. I started crying. Jai then told me Sam was his cousin. He asked me why I wasn't talking to him--"

"So Jai didn't chea--"

"Let me finish please.. So I said I thought you were dating Sam. He said oh you're silly then, but we're still dating right? Yes we are I said as we cuddled. And yeah that's what happened."

"Oh my gosh, he didn't cheat! Nice bloke, nice bloke!"
